Ooh, that's a good idea I will try baby wipes on that mark that is currently being hidden under the rug
How nice of your OH to put the ironing away - I think Mr Itsa thinks it magically irons itself and appears back in the drawersJust keep swimming!0 -
I use baby wipes on my sofa, always gets rid of any horrid marks.
Glad you had a good day yesterday and a chance to chill.0 -
Morning diary,
Morning followers! Hope your all ok?! Have you had any snow yet?? We have it was quite slippy walking down to school so best get my yaktrax out!
Re the mark on the carpet, this was a black sticky mark, havent a clue what it was! Im imagining something will have been spilt there.
Well ive just done the meter readings and for 10 days weve used £36.79, and are £173.64 in credit! DH is wanting to start using the TD as hes constantly complaining about the windows being steamed up. So ive agreed we will do it and monitor the electric usage and if we see a huge difference hopefully he will change his mind!
Right best get on! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
Well done on finishing your sage course, whats next for you?
My DD loves Stickman, I still read it to her!
We've had no snow yet, I'm sure it will move further North at some point, not looking forward to it!
I've got a load in the TD today but managed to dry most of it on the line last week.
Hope you have a lovely baking session xxx0 -
Morning Diary,
Sorry ive not been around all week been a bit busy again!
At least its Friday though!!
Nothing really too exciting to report, bank accounts especially the joint looking ok. My account has just enough to cover the next 2 weeks bits and bobs. I have realised though ive no money in the budget for anymore petrol so will speak to DH this evening about that coming out of the joint accoung. I think weve just about 1/4 of tank left with no plans to go anywhere but it will need filling up before next payday (2 weeks today).
I can not believe that we are 2 weeks away from Christmas! It really doesnt feel like it but we havent even put our tree up yet so hopefully putting that up this weekend will make it feel more Christmassy.
DH and I did some more shopping yesterday so only a few bits to get now. I wrapped them up and they are safely in the loft away from prying eyes!
Going to try and catch up with some surveys this evening and try get a payout from Opinion world.
Right best get on anyway! Catch up soon xx

Morning diary,
Just popping in for a quick catch up.
Well its snowed here last night and I absolutely do not drive in the snow! So DH went off to the supermarket! He did better than me in the £40 stakes and only spent £40.02!!!! Think he can go do it in future.
Think thats about all from me anyway! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Just popping on for a quick catch up and then to do some surveys.
Had a lovely weekend of pottering round and some visiting today. We put our tree up yesterday and it is looking lovely I must say! Did the living room deep clean at the same time aswell.
The bathrooms need doing tomorrow so will do the deep clean in terms of skirtings, doors etc as well.
Right think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well done Mummy, sounds like you are having a productive weekend. I have to say my OH is dreadful with regard to shopping, he couldn't stick to a budget if his life depended on it
He is an impulse buyer and does not look at the price of anything that goes in the trolley. He has become accustomed to looking for the offers etc and what we get from Aldi and what we get from Tesco, but then he will see something he "fancies" and in it goes
We put our tree and decorations up today as well. It looks lovely albeit a little cluttered and messy - but hey ho, it is ChristmasJust keep swimming!0 -

Hello Itsa,
I like to think ive taught DH well, 18m ago he would have been the same haha!!
Ive just realised it was on this day last year that DH found out about the debt . It really was the best thing that could have ever happened as there is no way we would have paid off over £8500 without him onboard. Lots of love to my DH.
Hopefully if we can carry on like this we may have paid off another £8500 by this time next year xxMummytogirls x0
