  • Afternoon diary,

Just popping in for a quick catch up before taking DD1 to the school disco! Well I am soooo glad its Friday, im absolutely worn out, its been a busy week!

Im currently looking at the living room with absolute zero chance of decluttering as I just cannot be @rsed!! So I think when I come back the disco I will start on my advanced sage and save the living room until tomorrow.

Ive just done the meter readings and in 2 weeks weve used £46.48 so its steadily increasing. Still £112 in credit but I feel my credit not increasing from this point on!

Well DH went off to Argos with a list and £100 worth of love to shop vouchers and picked up more bits for the girls today. So my job for this evening also is to start wrapping! DD1 is far too tuned in and im worried about her finding things so DH will then put them up the loft. Shes only 5 !!!!!! whats going to happen as she gets older!
So that doesnt leave much to buy at all.

I went to Morrisons last night and spent £51 on petrol and £77 on groceries. So im still on target for my free vouchers!

Oh and ive got 33 watchers on my ebay items and 2 bids :j. Looking forward to them ending on Sunday xx

  • Hi Mummy,
My DD has already seen one of her pressies in the cupboard under the stairs, she said she wanted her Dora Doll so I said it wasn't for her it was for the poor kids (as thats where her dummy's are going) and she said OK. She hasn't mentioned it again and I have put a cover over everything...its getting difficult now to talk about anything as there is nothing that gets past her. Good idea to put things in the loft.

    xx

  • Hi Mummytogirls, how are you? You have been so busy, I am feeling quite lazy because I've got so much to do but am sitting here on the laptop instead!! Just thought I would pop in to your diary to say hello and see what you had been up to!

I know what you mean about 100's of teddys on the end of beds, drives me crazy every morning when I go to make DD's bed.

Envious of your Tumble Dryer, my trusty old clothes horse gave in this week, the leg snapped. Haven't had a chance to replace it as I have no pennies, and no tumble dryer! Great excuse for no washing, but I will have a bit of a backlog to clear.

Can't believe your DD is starting to tune in to whats going on re christmas! We use the loft for stashing stuff too!

    Hopefully talk to you soon
  • Ha ha - this reminds me of last years disaster. We use the loft, Christmas Even we got the "bike" down and hid it as best we could only for Little Itsa to come downstairs and ask who the bike in the spare bedroomed belonged to

Little Itsa loves cuddly toys too - she doesn't have the biggest of bedrooms though so we limit them. She snaffles ones that don't belong to her though - I have Mr Itsa's teddy from when he was a baby. It is a bobbly old affair, with one eye missing and some very floppy looking ears and limbs but I keep catching Little Itsa sleeping with it (I don't think it would last much longer - so I keep taking it off her again!).

I was exactly the same when I was little though - I remember winning a huge huge polar bear from the funfair, and would not go to sleep unless it was on the bed sat at the headboard with my pillow and head basically in its crotch :p
    Just keep swimming!

  • Hello diary,

Sorry ive not posted again... still living the hectic lifestyle although im hoping by next week it might have calmed down a bit.

Checked both bank accounts, looking ok. DH was paid today so we look loaded in that account... not for long though haha!
Cant believe its the 1st December tomorrow eeekkk!!

Well im just having a lunch break, usually I dont but my job share is back from maternity leave now so I have a bit more breathing space.
Yesterday was NSD11, so thats 11 for November. Today will be a small spend day as I need some cheese for the lasagne im making for tea.
I think tomorrow will be a NSD and then il do the grocery shopping Friday evening.

Ive brought my own lunch to work, broccoli and stilton soup, a roll from the freezer, some fruit and mini cheddars so that will do me.

Anyway urgent requests coming in so best go xx
