    Is it ok now? Have you run the MCAFEE REMOVAL TOOL?

    Yes, I uninstalled McAfee before I downloaded Avast in case they didn't like each other. It seems to all be working ok now.

    Not uninstalled, used the 'removal tool'? (Simply uninstalling leaves bits behind which is why ive asked)
