I'm not running Em, I have spent the day in my pajamas with DD who has been snoozing on and off and wobbling around looking weary. but great excuse for a pajama day for me.
Have been learning a lot about a blog I want to set up and the features I want to use for it - so not completely lazy and I am quite pleased with myself.
Oh yeah and daydreaming about ducks in the back garden!!

Excellent - can't wait to read it if you're sharing it through here - what are you planning to write about? You write beautifully :)
Yay - get ducks get ducks get ducks!!! You won't regret it (unless you have a perfect lawn like the wotsit women/wives? ohhh who are they?) You might need to astroturf it if you want it to look perfect :)
Hope DD feels better soon xx

Your signature's spot on - I think we can all do with being reminded of that from time to time.

That's the one 'Stepford wives' - if you're like that, don't get ducks!

I hope you don't think i was implying you were :o (and i've never seen the film either so i don't really know what they're like - i might've been confusing them with desperate housewives, i'm not saying you're one of those either!) I was just saying it as we have no lawn left - my neighbour's lawn is perfect and i often see her going past frowning. Our garden needs re-designing anyway so we'll make it more duck-friendly but i know a lot of people would be horrified to have a mud patch where a lawn used to be :D

It would be great to have a professional to do it but i think we'll have to muddle through due to shortage of funds. I bet that's a nice job to have. We're hoping that some of our kind relatives will donate us some plants for starters - can't wait to get out there, maybe that'll be on tomorrow's agenda... I've always wanted an outside shower but OH (and probably most people) think it's a bit odd!
