Just managed to make my first 2 corsages - well, the pink one's not backed yet. I've stuck photos on my old blog (see link in my profile) if anyone would like to have a look and I'd appreciate some feedback - plus whether you think I could sell them - and how much for!
DH said the pink one looked like a horse show rosette!:(
I've backed the cream one with felt that I made from a charity shop cream wool scarf that I boiled up in the washing machine - seems to work and was cheaper than the felt from the craft shop! I'm trying to make all these corsages from recycled/upcycled materials - the idea is to see how many I can make before I have to buy something!:rotfl:

Adore the cream one Mrs Money, little unsure about the other, but that's maybe because you (or rather your OH) put the idea in my head! Great idea though upcycling everying, remember to look out on your local freecycle for various materials etc. I was going to suggest that to someone else today too, who was it?.....

EDIT: It was YOU Em! I often see plants/seedlings/seeds advertised on my local freecycle, so keep an eye out, you might be able to get all sorts of goodies for your garden!

Em - lots of freecycles became freegle s instead. don't know the ins and outs of it but we don't have a freecycle anymore but we do have a very active freegle. works the same way as far as I can see.

Ah yes, Jo we're the same, it's a Freegle now. Still, there's likely to be one or another in your area, I think they're great! Of course, that was in the days when I gave things away for free, now I assess everything carefully wondering how much I can eBay them for :rotfl:

There's also a link for getting free veggie seeds on the Freebie board too, if that's of any help to anyone! Oh and for those of you walking/jogging/running, there's a free pedometer pack too, provided you live in England.

They are really pretty Mrs Money- well done! I reckon if you took the ribbons off the pink one it might take away the rosette effect but if I hadn't read what your OH said before I looked at it I probably wouldn't have thought of it!
