An outside shower would be awesome although around here it would be freezing constantly!0

Yukkibear, really love that bracelet kit! Trying to think of reasons to buy beads now...
OH going out as a pirate tonight, he's got the beard for itbeen working on a boy Sulkie and Joey's one just has a fiddly bit to be finished once the kids are in bed, then will put on folksy. My four year-old's not well either, very tired and argumentative!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Em I didn't think you were implying I was one. it made me laugh to myself and if you could see our house and garden you would know why. living life is more important than being tidy - for us at least.
but we do actually have to be tidy enough to have room for the having fun bit.:rotfl:
Outside showers - ds invented one last summer with some plastic tubing, the hose pipe and a plughole drainer as the spout. Think it might be something slightly different you have in mind;)

Just managed to make my first 2 corsages - well, the pink one's not backed yet. I've stuck photos on my old blog (see link in my profile) if anyone would like to have a look and I'd appreciate some feedback - plus whether you think I could sell them - and how much for!
DH said the pink one looked like a horse show rosette!:(
I've backed the cream one with felt that I made from a charity shop cream wool scarf that I boiled up in the washing machine - seems to work and was cheaper than the felt from the craft shop! I'm trying to make all these corsages from recycled/upcycled materials - the idea is to see how many I can make before I have to buy something!:rotfl:0 -
Mrs money I LOVE the cream and brown one, that is lush!! I have to kind of agree wiht ur DH i'm afraid but it is very pretty and you could see do a lot with that, I'm thinking making childrens rosettes and perhaps a certificate to go with for being good or happy birthday etc ...0

yep - think I will be remaking that pink one - my DS's girlfriend said she thought the cream one was like the sort of thing you see in Accessorize - so that cheered me up!
Thanks for having a look!0 -
way hay... I did get fed up a few years ago, but last year has been the best in years..... this season... well, I am certainly looking forward t it.
DS supports Lewis Hamilton as he shares a name (Hamilton was my maiden name and no other boys in the family to I gave DS Hamilton as his middle name...)
I support anyone other than Ferrari.....
I LOVE it when the little teams win....
I just hope desperatly that there is a team that can show Schumacher that he is too old now!!
Off to make lunch, strangle the kids and then shopping.....JOY...NOT
I've been a McLaren girl for donkeys years, but last year upset me - can't stand Hamilton and Kovaleinen was just a waste of space. The Hamilton/Button scenario is far too English for a Scots lass like myself, so I'll be playing the field this year methinks. Might have to support Lotus for old times sake! The 'S' word is a sweary word in my house, and I sincerely hope he's run out of the sport for good, with his tail between his legs, I can't begin to describe how I felt when I heard the awful news of his return! Oh how I long for the days of Hakkinen!
Anyhoo, sorry folks, when I get started on my passion, I forget my place, apologies!
Really busy day at work grrrr, supposed to finish at 4pm, finally got the place closed up at 5pm, so it's been a long one.
Off to put my feet up with a cuppa for a bit, then get back to crafting, I'm making some progress (jury is out on how good the progress is yet, but maybe too soon to tell!).
Toots xPROUD SUPPORTER OF THE DRIBBLERS!
