    QUOTE]

No I don't I haven't made any yet but I really want a go. I need to buy some bits what do I need to start? I made some bookmarks at christmas for my bf and my nan (I never actually got round to giving my nan hers its still in my desk, whoops) but anyway I really enjoyed making those. They are the metal ones with the dangly beads if you know what I mean.

I've decided thats what I am going to have a go at making.......... I tried crocheting but I was a bit lame at that

He isn't in the best mood, though. He's okay, but easily annoyed. He's playing Xbox with his friend.

I'm having hot and cold flushes :'(

OMG just had confirmation through that DD has a place on the youth orchestra in France in the summer. She'll be away for 11 days rehearsing with the orchestra and doing two concerts at the end. Her French and music teachers will be thrilled, but I don't have to be psychic to predict that I will spend the first 11 days of August worrying myself sick about her.

WOW - thats FANTASTIC - well done to her :T

Hi Laura, yeah I know the bookmarks you mean. To start a good website is About.com there's some good beginners tutorials on there, also YouTube as it's lot easier to learn by watching someone. You'll need pliers (roundnose and flat) wire cutters, wire or headpins depending on what you're making and beads. Good luck with it, practice makes perfect especially with loops!

Hi Saucy, glad OH is home, hope you feel better later hun :-)

I often read these tips by Darren Rowse - he's an Australian top blogger and has loads of great ideas on his site. I like him because he's not all silly talk about earning millions of dollars from your blog - he's a bit more down to earth.
I have had this link in my inbox for a while - been meaning to share - 13 Quick Tips is worth a read and then if you have a read at the rest of the site - you may find some inspiration.
