Books re ok, it only got to the one on the bottom of the pile I left out last night. Will have to go into town on the way to get some figs for DD I feel like poo! Can't bail on my friend so will have to try and squeeze everything in! First job is to move the boxes out of the way to try and get to the vax, then will just have to try dry the carpet. Phoned OH and told him, and he said can I go to the fish shop and get some more water???? Can I b0ll0cks!

Thankyou, just so frustrated, will be ok once it is all done!

Are you going to the sea life centre? Is it a big one, the one we have here is carp, I want to take DDs to the sea life sanctuary, they have seals and penguins there! One day, when I get my car!

ETA: DD1 has just made me laugh, she has just said "naughty busturd daddy's wee'd on the floor!" slight worried because she is only 2, but it did make me laugh!

Can't say on here what I think about him wanting you to get more water for the fish!! Was thinking fresh water but they must be salt? Trying to think what's good for constipation, lots of fluids and fruit, maybe a warm bath and rub her tummy clockwise, if you can. Glad your stuff didn't get ruined, just had a look for what you can do when salt water's been spilled on your carpet and just got a load of advice for cleaning your carpet WITH salt so dunno!
Sealife is OK so long as you get the passes they do every year with the paper, otherwise it costs £14.50 to get an adult in (!!) and even then the kids rush round without really concentrating on much. The bit they really like is the soft play, which is knackered but has bits to hide and a slide so they love it. The penguins look miserable, the seals are funny though xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

*hugs* MummyandPaige, sounds like your morning hasn't been the greatest hun, the day can only get better! Haha @ your DD though, she's learning fast!! Incidentally, um, why would you need to BUY water for the tank....???? *confused*

Happy Mothers Day to all Mummys, my kids are old enough to surprise me now and then of their own accord (just as well since the ex is and always was useless on that front) although I suspect that won't happen today, but I really don't mind - first race of the F1 season starts in a couple of hours, I'm happy happy! :j

Off to check my eBay listings which end tonight, but last time of checking it wasn't looking great :(

Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies xx

I'm only mummy to a dog and two ducks so not much chance of breakfast in bed from them. I really must get up and get going. Off to the beach with my Mum, sister in law and nephew - with the Iggle Piggle football and a stick to draw faces in the sand. I love being an aunty :D
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

Have fun Em, sounds like it will be great.
well I managed to get everything ready for poorly DH to make me poached eggs on toast. looks like we will be mainly at home.
Kids have been making me presents since yesterday out of bits and pieces that are lying around so bit bizarre but very sweet.
DS' one is a solar powered painty-water heater! how he loves his glue gun!
DD's is an egg box filled with "coin eggs" (2ps and 1ps) and about 4 diaries each made out of a piece of scrap paper and masking tape.
DS also made me a mothers day machine on my bed out of 3 duvets with a place to sit a place to lie and a place to drive.
