Hope everyone has a good day!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

YOU ARE EXEMPT - students don't pay council tax (my house a band H (!!) and I don't pay any cos I am a student)
Shop around with vets etc and look out for promotions - might be worth googling a few dog charities etc and find out if there's a national neutring campaign coming later this year or something - you can tell I've been on MSE for a while eh - first thought how can I get it for free/cheaper/etc!! ??
Some vets also do payment plan things for neutering - worth an ask
Ergh I'm terminally allergic to vets (I have my reasons) - even typing about them is sending shivers down my spine -
eta - WHY NOT CONSIDER THE YING AND YANG OF MONEY
YOU NEEDED £150 TO DO VETS - YOU'RE SAVING £75 NOW ON COUNCIL TAX - USE 2 MONTHS OF COUNCIL TAX SAVING TO PAY VETS? (MONEY YING and MONEY YANG) ie MONEY IN - MONEY OUT
Catmioaw - (()) hugs - hope it went better than you think.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:ji'm so chuffed about the council tax ;-) don't suppose they'll back pay me since last september tho since i started the course - now that would really make my day! :j
Not gonna stress too much about the vets bill I love my dogs ;-) and i'm not ready for puupies! no room here for any more bodies of any type! i'm hoping its an investment and will reduce vet bills in the future cos of the reduced risk of prostrate cancer/ovarian cancer I'll still have my little canine girl to do and that will be closer to £200:eek:
i like the ying yang theory :rotfl:
don't stress Catmiaow - u never know:o

On the subject of council tax, does anyone know what a single person with a lodger pays? Is it like a normal two person or is it single person discount alone? I am getting myself prepared for the inevitable.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Will probably keep asking lots of questions, feel a bit sad but know it's for the best really
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
((((((Josie)))))) You will find strengths you didn't know you had hun and if deep down you know its for the best then it will be a weight lifted off your shoulders in the end. xx
I would think if yu have 2 adults living on a premises regardless of their relationship then you won't be entitled to the 25% single persons discount ;-(

Gosh i'm on a roll today seem to have achieved quite a bit for a change! still got lots of cleaning to do tho and I'd better get down to the town to take out the
£850 for creche fees:eek: aghhhhh must keep reminding myself that 80% of it is paid by tax credits *wipes brow with relief*
and somehow must get into tesco and out again with only 2 jars of pasta sauce and lasagne sheets that i forgot yesterday! that'll be a tough one!

Hugs....Josie.
I was made a single mum too, 3 years ago now....It was hard yes, but we are so much happier now, it was the right thing to happen, even though I didn't think it at the time! I'm better off too as I'm so organised with my money;)
And yes Sarah...definitely no Council tax if you're classed as a full time student - I am, it's lovely having no CT each month;) I work 4 days a week, only have college 1 day but as a lot of my course is work based, it's classed as fulltime. Be lovely if they backdate it for you:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0
