Tues 2nd March - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D
Morning people

Looks like another clear, sunny day today....how fab...Spring has sprung, for now anyway
Not much going on here - morning at work then home for a good tidy up as the letting agent doing yet another periodic check on the house. Shouldn't take too long, a quick whizz over the bathroom and hoover through. Need to get cracking on a Uni assignment too....must attempt to catch up
to any new posters.....stay with us! And big waves.....
to the rest of you!!!
Ok...here's my list:

Morning milly & mogchops  What a lovely cheery post to read in the morning! Hello to everyone who follows!
I'm just getting ready to head out to work so boring list for me today. Looks a bit like this:
- breakfast @ home, take lunch to work, have Sunday's leftovers for tea tonight
- do not get tempted by shops in town or vending machine in work
- charge phone at work
- feel good about myself for taking a bag to the charity shop, remembering that someone will need the stuff more than I do
- hopefully NSD. Definitely don't need anything so will be most upset if it's not!!
- tidy, tidy, tidy up tonight! Did nothing at home last night and the place is a tip!
Maybe I need to find myself a letting agent to come round for a bit of motivation!! 0 -

Morning everyone!
Not feeling v. happy today so here's my list:
- Go to work and try to keep positive
- Not NSD, got to post a book sold on Amazon.
- Try and work out why pay at pump in shell only took £1 off my debit card instead of £20???
- Try not to dwell on the fact that I could very likely be a single mother soon....
Have a good day all xNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
morning all..
done/will do here
scratched and clicked
normal washing on low, and sheets etc washed overnight.
hang washing out as soon as I think it's warmed up enough not to freeze my fingers off :snow_grin - my washing line is in a garden facing NW, in the shadow of the house - it's COLD out there in the mornings.
check online banking
post ebay parcel
NSD (will commit to it in my sig right now, so nothing tempts me in the PO)
run around and do the appliance off at wall check
Give the washing machine a good clean now that it's had its maintenance wash. I can see gunk in the big rubber seal folds, and fab.con drawer is getting manky. In fact, that's a challenge for me. I know it's on the way out, but will try to keep it going/not buy a new one until at least 2011. (hope those aren't famous last words, and that it conks out tomorrow
)
Start a spending diary for March. Lost track of a few things last month
enjoy the day folksretirement savings target: £100,000 by 2032 start: £21200 Jun 22, Jun 23:0 -
