Up at stupid o'clock again this morning! Obviously my body thought it had had enough sleep at 4.30am!!!!!
DD has a party to go to this afternoon so spending half of the day out of the house, have a few chores to do and am making a start on DS3 party bags:)November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Day at home today, loads to do and washing pile is huge! Just put first wash on, its sunny so hopefully that will be on the line before the school run.
Checked banking and updated spreadsheets, noticed I have spend way too much on craft stuff in march, must curb that in april!!!
DS1 is off school again today, pending an investigation. On thursday a teacher punched him in the face, saturday the police were round to take a statement and so far 4 of the kids from the class have made a statement, could be more but the school arent telling us anything!
I will be contacting the LEA again this morning and ex DH is phoning the school to get us an appointment with his head of year. As far as I am aware the teacher is still teaching in school! I think the police are going in to school today to take some more statements from the kids (it happened in class). I am just plain exhausted from it already! DS1 is doing ok but none of us can understand why he is being kept from going into school and the teacher is still working.
Hopefully today will bring some good news!November NSD's - 70 -

They will tell you what they want you to know.

Morning all.
I so wish I could lie in later than 5am! Not much to report on the school issue, we are waiting for the police to contact us and let us know what is going on, we do know that they have interviewed the teacher, but not the outcome. Ds1 remains off school until this has been sorted. I know that the Education welfare officer will be pushing us to make a decision after the easter holidays about wether we will be sending him into school, but we feel while the head sticks to his decision of not suspending the teacher we have to keep our child safe and that means not sending him in. Lots to think about over the holidays. I have also spoken with the LEA inclusion team and there seems to be a need for a sit round the table meeting with them, the school and a few others, plus us, to decide what we are going to do. It may be that the school will refer DS1 to the PRU, which means he could go back to learning full time during the course of the investigation. It is such a shame that this school does not understand or even want to understand the challenges of a child with ADHD. The teacher thing is a separate issue in which we know the truth as the whole class saw it and have been writing statements to confirm my sons version of events. Whichever way I look at things, I feel DS1 days are numbered at that school. They are constantly zoning, detaining and excluding him for ridiculous reasons, he hasnt attended a full maths lesson since january as his teacher will pretty much zone him on entrance to the classroom. Its such a mess and is dragging me down at the moment, I have felt very low for the last two weeks.
Sorry to rant, for those that are interested, thanks for listening.November NSD's - 70 -
