Morning all:)
College this morning so up early!
Seem to be fairly on top of things again which is good, have done banking and updated spreadsheets, all looking good.
Have had a look at the calendar and Easter holidays are not far away, kids break up on 1st April, so will need to do a large food shop that week so I am not running up the local coop every five minutes and spending untold amounts over my budget! I am starting to plan for this now! They are off for 18 days, so need to start planning some activities for them to do during that time.... so far I have:
Cineworld for Juniors on a Saturday morning £1 (but full price for me I believe)
Inflatable swimming: Free for under 16's
Bowl for £1 Early on saturday morning
Also am starting to print out activity sheets of DD to amuse her over the holidays and some wordsearches and suduko's for the older ones.
Add into the mix some trips to the park and hopefully the kids wont get too bored!!!
Grateful for any other suggestions......suitable for a 6,9,12 and 14 year old!!
Blimey 5.50am already time does fly...
see you all later xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Hi Jammie
When I have been to movies for Juniors it's been £1 for all tickets? Thats at cineworld. My kids are 9,13,14 & 17 and we often pack a picnic and football and go to a local country park, have a "nature" walk! just a wander and the older ones point out interesting things to the little one! We also ave a farm shop that has a farm trail, walk round look at animals, for the cost of a couple of bags of food - only an hour or so out but good trade for house task.
Are any of the kids in cubs/brownies etc - we base days around badges they want to gain?
Don't know if any of that is any help - looks a bit boring written down but we have a laugh! - We also have a "treat" day each week that costs more to do but we also have at home days so cost normally balances out - most weeks the older ones will meet up with friends too.

Thanks for those ideas stressed.mum.
No none of my kids are in cubs/brownies, I am searching the list of things on in our local area to see if there is anything free/cheap to do over the holidays. I will keep looking for more ideas!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Off into town first thing, have a whole list of chores to do. Will be popping into card factory to pick up birthday/anniversary cards for next three months. Will probably need to spend about £10 or so, but then I wont have to worry about spending £1.50+ at the local shop when a birthday comes up and I have forgotten to buy a card!
Will also be trying to get a £15 iTunes card in Morrisons as in Martins email it says they will only cost you £10. I have a couple of things I want to buy on iTunes so quite happy to save £5:)
Also need to go to the bank, post office and Sussex Stationers to use the children's World Book Day tokens.
Hoping to get this all done in 1 hour so parking will only cost 65p:)
Banking and spreadsheets done and up to date, must decide what to do for dinner..... probably sausages! (I have loads in the freezer)
House needs a bit of a tidy as I was out at college all day then parents evening last night, but its not a huge mess thanks to me flyladying it all week:D
Need to get a wash on this morning, and a few last minute things for DD party on Sunday, but other than that I am pretty pleased as I am quite organised this week!
Will be trying to get a decent nap in today.... hopefully no phone calls or knocks on the door!!!
Have a great day all whatever you are doing!November NSD's - 70 -
Hey guys,
Managed to get a really good nap in today after doing all my chores in town. Have been printing out some great printables from activityvillage.co.uk this afternoon for the little ones.
Looking forward to a nice chilled out evening with the kids:)November NSD's - 70 -
Oooh its cold here this morning!
Ds1 has just left for his paper round and Ds3 and DD are watching Bee Movie:)
Ds2 is still in bed, how he can sleep through the noise I have no idea!
DD received another party invitation yesterday, so all put into calendar and present ordered from play.com, I already have card and wrap from my stockpile so all sorted!
Have quite a bit of housework to be getting on with today and loads of washing! Will be trying to have a relaxing afternoon though as my usual sunday pyjama day isn't going to happen as it is DD party!
The party is all organised and ready to go! Everything is ready, party bags done, cake bought etc so I don't have to think about it until tomorrow lunchtime:)
Right, better get on, sooner I finish, sooner I chill:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Up early again this morning, I think I have lost the ability to lie in! Little two are asleep and big two are at their dads so very quiet here at the moment.
Managed to get a load of course notes typed up last night, I have an exam in two weeks so it will make it easier to revise, plus it's refreshing my memory typing it all out! Added bonus of making my folder lighter too:D
Housework all under control again, just one wash to do today, looks like it will be nice so that will be going on the line. All school uniform washed and dried.
Ds3 will be going out with his carer this afternoon while DD has her party as I need to be concentrating on the 15 kids that are coming and not chasing him around the sports centre:)
Going to have a nice bath in a little while, but off to update spreadsheets first!
Have a lovely sunday everyone!November NSD's - 70 -
I too have lost the ability to lay in........not fair is it!!
I hope the party goes well this afternoon. I am sure that it will be fine - you seem very organised all round!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
