Must have been really tired as I slept in to 7am this morning!

Ds3 is going to playscheme today then out with his carer, DD is off to a party and I will be staying there with her.

I might do some cardmaking later on this afternoon. I have finished DD birthday scrapbook page, but I need to get a new 12x12 album as I have run out of space in the old one. They are quite expensive so I will be looking around for a bargain.

I will hopefully be typing up some more notes today. Its is really helping with my revision.

Lots of housework to do this morning. Hopefully the kids will be amused on the wii while I get on.

Have a friend round for a takeaway this evening, so will be nice to catch up.

    Have a lovely day everyone!

  • Gosh you always seem so organised I wish I could be more like you :o

I'm interested in the scrapbook you are doing for your daughter, my daughter would love that but I have no idea where to even begin as I have never done anything like that and I am not arty at all :o

Enjoy your day it sounds like a nice relaxing one for a change :D

    Hi keeping motivated:wave:

I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years now so have accumalated loads of stuff over that time. You dont have to be arty to do it!

I would check out some of the really good scrapbooking sites and forums also peoples scrapbooking blogs. There are loads of good magazines, my favourite is 'scrapbook magazine' I lift loads of ideas from there!

The basics you need to start is some cardstock 12 x 12 inches, a journalling pen, any photo that you would like to scrap, a few sheets of patterened paper. You can buy all that very cheaply, it's the embellishments that can be costly. I usually buy some ribbon, matched to the colour of the page I am doing, maybe some paper flowers, buttons.

    I find it very relaxing:)

    Morning:)

I had a lovely mothers day, kids made me beautiful cards and DS1 bought me chocolates:) It was quite a relaxing day.

I also made two easter cards and four little favour boxes for DD friends to give out when they break up for the easter holidays, will fill them with a few little chocolate eggs, they are really cute! I still have a few more easter cards to make which I shall make a start on later on in the week.

Today is main housework day. Lots of little jobs lined up to do, plus general cleaning. Wont get much done on wednesday or thursday this week so will be attempting to fit those days work into today.

Also some more revising to do, exam is only 3 days away!!!!

Banking and spreadsheets done:) Lunchbox half made so better get on with it.

Hope every one had a fab mothers day!

    Morning all:)

Busy dad yesterday so didnt manage to post. Off to Ikea today, will be leaving straight after the school run.

Have booked in a tesco delivery to come tonight between 8 and 10pm. Lots of bargains and offers again so am happy spent £54:) I might do a larger shop next week to see me through two weeks to save on the delivery charge.

My mum is coming round this afternoon to see us before she goes away on holiday for two weeks. DS1 birthday is coming round quickly, must get organised for that, he just wants a takeaway (Indian) for his birthday treat, and money for a present as he is saving mad towards a moped when he turns 16 (2 years away yet lol) he is saving up most of his paper round money towards it too. He couldnt think of any present he wanted, so cash it is!

DS3 birthday on 7th April so have booked a lane at bowling for him and two friends from school and then onto McDonalds afterwards, this will be his first ever 'birthday party' cant believe he will be 9!!! I have two of my carers coming as they have offered to help as all three boys are autistic. Should be fun! I made the invitations and he took them into school yesterday...he is so excited! I will probably make the party bags myself so have put that on my to do list, along with making a start on the thank you cards for him and DS1.....like to get ahead of the game!

Exam tomorrow and I am strangely calm about it all! I figure what I dont know now, Im not going to know!:)

Time to get on, I am so looking forward to Ikea today:D

    Morning all:)

Exam day today, I will be glad when it's over!!

Kids all still asleep which is a miracle! Ikea not very productive yesterday, spent £5.59 on some jars for my craft stuff plus another £5 in the sweet section:D

Never mind, I am going again end of april. Popped into hobbycraft on the way home and bought a few bits, they have such good stuff but are quite pricey!

Better get on with chores before kiddies wake up!

    Morning all:)

Got my results yesterday, my tutor emailed us all so we didnt have to wait until next week. I got a distinction:) not sure what my percentage was, will find out on thursday but I am really pleased!

Day at home today after a hectic week. DD has a party to go to tomorrow so spending the day indoors with the kids.

I have quite a bit of paperwork to catch up on, so will be cracking on with that later.

Managed to lay in until 6.30 this morning and didnt wake to my alarm which was wonderful!

3 out of 4 kids awake already so better get on.... have a great day everyone!
