I have no idea what the current situation is for any foods, I just remembered that there can be problems (your food might all be confiscated if you've got it wrong).
This will be fine - it's ok to take meat, dairy and food products between countries which are in the EU (so from England to France), but there are restrictions if you're travelling to a non-EU country. See here for more information. Although if I were the OP, I'd just get some picnic stuff from the nearest supermarket when I got to France. Saves carrying heavy food, it'll be fresher and tastier, and in my experience it's not that big a price difference.2015 comp wins - £370.25

Just found this thread and am in the process of working my way through it. I am going to Sonisphere next month and will not be allowed to bring a gas stove as all gas canisters are banned. Although I seem to remember the T&C's saying that disposable BBQ's were ok. OH doesn't eat meat just fish, also we dont have a cool box or room for one as we don't drive. Everything we need will be carried so we need to keep everything to a minimum. Liked the brioche idea for breakfast.0

I didn't read the whole thread - so sorry if this was already suggested...
You can take along muesli in a tupperware container, add some milk powder while you are still at home and shake it up. While at camp all you need to do is add some water and you have instant muesli. No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0 -
We're going to T in the Park in a couple of weeks and this year they are allowing small disposable BBQ's. I was thinking of taking a few to use for our breakfast/lunch before we head into the arena but as we will only have a coolbox I'm not sure what we could take and what would keep for 2 or 3 days.
So far my only idea is freezing packets of hotdogs, using them as ice packs and BBQing them when they thaw.
Does anyone have any good ideas?0 -
No meat will really keep for 2-3 days in a coolbox. Well not any I can think of.Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.
