I recieved my vouchers after approx 1 month. My friend in Salford however had to phone them an give them a nudge. She then recieved her without any problems. They did say to her the vouchers were out of stock, and new vouchers were due in within the week.
I suppose it depends who you get hold of as to what you get told?!

I have been phoning over and over again - over two hours of calls, continually been told they have been sent, have now resorted to emails; though they just keep telling me the same thing 'that they will send them and that they will take another 28 Days'.

This has now been going on since last year! It's now March 2010.

If I had received them like you 'after 'approx 1 month' or quickly like your friend did after a call then I wouldn't have a problem - but I do however have a problem - as I still have not received them.

I am having the same problem, we signed up at the beginning of November, opted for the Tesco vouchers and were told we would receive them within 30 days. Called after 30 days and were told another 30 days. Called again after that and were told there is a 90 day backlog!!! That was up last week and surprise surprise, still no sign!! Tried phoning them again but the contract is in the OH name so they won't speak to me and trying to get him to phone again is a complete nightmare!! Typical guy :p Think we will try and e-mail this Jeremy Darroch guy and see if we get any results that way as we could really do with them!!

    Hi Kaylzbob

I got so frustrated and annoyed over the last four months, with being fobbed off, lied to and treated with such distain and my questions being completely ignored that I cancelled my direct debit. Two days later I got a letter saying that they'd noticed I'd cancelled my direct debit and that they will switch me to monthly bill - and charge me £4.00 for the priviledge. I rang them up and told them I would not reinstate the direct debit until they sent my vouchers. Vouchers have now duly arrived - how funny is that after months and months of promises that they had already been sent.

I have now gone online to MySKY and paid my bill. I have absolutely no intention of paying them £4.00 extra either!

I am not suggesting that you do the same, but just to tell you what I did after being treated with utter contempt by a multi billion pound organisation.
  • I have also been waiting for Tesco vouchers from Sky since October 09. Every time I call I get told they'll be with me in 28 days - I've called every 28 days since signing up and still no vouchers.

According to one of the 'advisors' I spoke to, they sent out a batch of Tesco vouchers in January which hadn't been activated so customers got to the tills only to discover that their 'vouchers' had no value.

In fairness, most of the advisors I have spoken to have been aware of the problem and been understanding and very polite. They aren't the ones responsible for sending the vouchers though and Sky have yet to apologise for the mistake. I've spoken to supervisors who say they'll put me on some sort of mysterious priority list!

I rang (again) at the weekend and was asked if anyone had filled out an 'e-form' for me. No one had mentioned this before but apparently it needs to be filled out by the advisor and their supervisor to acknowledge that the vouchers haven't been sent. I was told the vouchers would be with me in 28 days...my bill arrived today but no vouchers.
  • ...and just to twist the knife a little further, Sky charge you for calling them!!!

Last week I had 2 'courtesy calls' from Sky customer service to say that my vouchers had now been sent out and had I received them yet. Still no sign!! What a surprise!! I would definitely reccommend e-mailing Jeremy Darroch who was mentioned in an earlier post, although, we shall wait and see how long it ACTUALLY takes for my vouchers to come after they were issued 16th March!!
