Morning everyone,
I had quite an early night yesterday, so I did not reply to the messages.
SW, I knew you were unhappy at work but had no idea it was that bad!
Have you thought about the possibility of getting a similar job somewhere else? (I know you have mentioned that it is your colleagues who are the problem, rather than the actual work)
Although I am sure your consellor will have already mentioned this - don't want to take over the professional's role!
And, NID, how on earth do you manage with so little sleep? Or all those good deeds (for me and many others) taking all your time so that you don't get time to sleep?"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Hi NID
Saw your respsonses to Capquest and they amused me greatly! I had an issue with them last year so may need to be told by you that I have been an eejit!
I was repaying a CC debt to them by SO when I suddenly got a default notice. When I phoned them up they said it was because I had not made a payment for a few months, well not only did I have my bank statements in front of me to prove that I had made the payments, I had actually increased the payments in that period! After getting stroppy on both sides, it turned out that they had changed their bank and my payments were not being transferred over to the new account. I was livid as I was the one who had to prove I had made the payments and then they would look into it.
As I have a little under £3k left on this, what would your suggestion be?A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Hello poppet. It is so nice to hear from you. Counselling is helping but it is vv slow. I am learning to be assertive. I cant change jobs. Can't afford to, too ill to drive etc so i appear to be stuck here.
I have lovely friends and more now thanks to MSE. It will get better. This is just a bad week.
Your news yesterday was fantastic and cheered me up. I cant wait till you and NID deal with the rest!!!!! We will have a real party as i know it will end well. After all we now support the best football team in the world as well.
I dont know how NID does it either, 4 hours sleep, i think it is cos he is Superman!!! Hope he is enjoying flying today as the weather is great.
I am pootling off to work now. Speak later. ~Do have a good day.
Big hugs,

Hiya
Can you confirm whether CrappyQuest removed the UNLAWFUL default? That is the main thing....
Regards to the debt, if this is your only problematic account, is it worth ruining your credit file for £3k? Or do you have others?2010 - year of the troll

Oh believe me they did! I was prepared to start WW3 if they didn'tGot that in writing, I only hope that they have apologised to anyone else in the same boat.
Agree with you on the debt, got another smaller one and am planning on repaying by Feb 11, unless I win the lottery before then!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Hi SW,
Just keep hanging in there! Perhaps things may improve. I bet if at least one of your problem colleagues left things would improve. My experience is that this type of people flock together - not brave enough to do anything on their own!
You are the brave one, facing them all on your own. Except you're not, because you have all your MSE friends behind you now.
Just wondering whether the post will bring anything "interesting" today ....."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hiya
Surely then, being the DN has been removed, it'd be better to continue with your agreement? I'd not suggest unenforceability, not for like £3k...
Regards to the DN - did you claim compo and complain to the FOS / ICO - it was libel and you should have been claiming compo for each day the libellous data was present, being it caused you undue hardship and stress....2010 - year of the troll

Didn't bother, was relieved that they corrected everything and scrapped the almost £1k interest they wanted to slap on top of it all. Mind you, it is a nice thought. Now going on a mission to reclaim PPI and as I discovered yesterday, PPP on the same car loan. Knew nothing of the PPP when I took out the loan so that should be a winner easily, between the 2 it cost best part of £4k, so that would be a nice lump into my savings account - yes I finally have one that is increasing rather than decreased!

Ok, you do know any PPI/PPP refunds are always used to off-set the existing balance and only the remainder would go to your bank account..... so if you owe £3k and are owed £4k you'd get a grand, not the whole £4k....2010 - year of the troll
