Hi Mouseann,
Well done for getting some kind of response back from them, that at least is a victory.!! I didn't get any post either, but that's okay. I had to ask Niddy for help on some that I got yesterday, and was really happy that he looked at it for me, another one unenforceable. We have now got 3 unenforceable, and 3 which still are not replying, and its over 7 weeks since we started the CCA route. They don't appear to be in a rush to get things sorted, but I certainly don't mind any delay at all.
well, its still a blooming miserable day, the washing is decorating the clothes airer, such a nice touch to any room, don't you think.!!

they agreed, as a "goodwill gesture", to refund £200 of the excess I paid on my recent repair, which takes it back to the original excess of £100. HOWEVER, this is not a result for me! They go on to say that the amount of £200 has been refunded to my M&S Mastercard
Hi MouseAnn - I used to work for an insurance company check the small print if it doesn't specifically say they will refund to your M&S card I would write to them and insist on a cheque, they should not know anything about your circumstances - as insurers they should only have access to info relevant to you as an insurance risk/insurance customer - but I have never worked at M&S.0 -
My brain is frazzled with doing job applications!!
Ann, I'd get on to the insurers and do what chatty suggests, you may get your £200.0 -
Hi Ann, I'd do what Chatty says. The may be a breach of the DPA (Data Protection Act) if the insurance co provided details to the credit card company. I'm sure someone will know a lot more about this than me but I do know that financial institutions are not allowed to share specific information without your explicit instructions.0

Will get a letter sent off - if I make it a bit syrupy and thank them for their gesture it might work. Certainly won't do any harm!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hi Sw,
Sorry to hear about your dr's appointment. Hope you get the diet sorted out - I am assuming that you have the type of diabetes which doesn't need insulin?
And, I must confess, I have not ebayed anything yet - nor have I tracked down "Mr. Liverpool"! It was only libbyjade talking about that part of the world that started my memory working overtime. Think I am going to leave that one to memory - of when we were both in our very early 20's. (Wish I still was!)"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
