You all feel like a family to me. I am so glad you are all here. I dont feel so alone.

    Hi Elsie,

Just wish the housing market would pick up - I am really psychologically ready for a move - although my house needs some tidying up (well, de-cluttering!) before I could even think of showing anyone around it! Trouble is, the clutter is just rubbish - not at all valuable, just stuff I have hoarded. Am currently sorting out old clothes - am getting rid of most of my old work clothes. Just keeping a few suits - in case!

You'd be amazed at what sells on eBay, I've sold Next work suits on there - saying I've worn them for about 4 years and that a seam came undone and was resewn by hand... got £16 for them...

    evening ann and all:j:j

bet your are exhausted ann my grands live opposite us and i see them every day ,they pop in whenever (aprox) every 10 mins.:eek:They live with my son so its ahelp for him too.The boys are 8yr old twins ....yesterday i had aletter from them "to our brilliant nan" awww:A

Awwwwwwwwwwwww that's lovely. My eldest grandchild, he's 3 1/2 brought me a painting from nursery, pinned it up on the wall. It's going into my happy box. That's a box where I put letters, cards and other nice stuff that reminds me of nice things and times. When I'm feeling grouchy and down I get it out to have a sort through, always works. I bounce back with a smile on my face.

I don't know where today went. Went to aqua aerobics to try and work on my knee, getting the strength back so that I can walk and stand for periods of time again. Came home, ate and went to sleep crikey must be getting old...

What's everyone up to this eve?

    Hi Moneypenny,

Problem is they are dry-clean only and the collars on the jackets are very grubby! Didn't think it was worth getting them cleaned but I am now wondering it might be worth it after all?

Love the idea of a "happy box"!

And not doing anything much this evening - the news is very gloomy - just wonder what is going to happen with all these cuts.

    Likewise, SW.

It would be very easy for me to be down now I am back home but it is my friends on this board who keep me sane (well, sane-ish!)

    Hi Swanfan,

Quite an uneventful day - which is not bad news!

    How about you?

    EVERTON!

    You can go off people!

My ex was a strong Liverpool supporter - and I always listen when their name is mentioned (don't actively follow them, though)

Even though we split up over 40 years ago!

And, of course, we all support Rangers in honour of the great NID!
Best keep quiet that i am a Liverpool fan as well then! Big John Toshack fan( hence Swansea & Liverpool supporter):o
