Hi Ann that was a close shave with the phone call phew!! I still get the odd one but usually ignore them but the odd time my son has answered and handed the phone to me in error he does know of my debts though. i just hang up on them without speaking. That grand dog is gonna give you away isnt it, its a good job they cant speak eh!

    Hi Nanna,

This is the relationship I would love with my son's family and, especially, my little grand-daughter.

Not sure about popping in every 10 minutes - two or three times a week would be brilliant for me. But, it is up to me to at least try to make it happen - gives me something to aim for!

Twins must be very tiring. I bet your son is pleased he has got you there to help him.

Yes, I think I may be reminded of the "not in lounge" rule when I go back there for my next stinit!

At least I didn't let her go upstairs!!!

Well they do know how to put on the charm do dogs. I looked after my neighbours basset hound for 2 days and his big eyes used to just melt me. Henry lifted his paw as well when he wanted something. i was a soft touch alright.

In that case, Nanna, even better that you are there for them!

You must be so proud of your son taking this on. So many men would not have a clue what to do!
