Put your iron setting on warm and using a plastic spatula, shear off the plastic, and use tweezers to pull away any that is in the steam holes.

Martin's book suggests using bicarbonate of soda (mixing several spoons into a paste) and then rubbing onto ovens to clean them. That might do?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
