I hope you are all having a good day. Hope car is ok Ann. Good luck with the school too Pixie. Nanna you are naughty!!!! Hello Fizer! Brewing your own beer. Be careful we'll be round!!!!

I have had the strangest day. My boss called me into his office to say that there had been an investigation into my teaching and i had nothing to worry about. Apparantly a member of staff (in my dept) had overheard a student complaining that i hadnt taught her in my lesson last week. So member of staff went to bully and they made a complaint on the students behalf. Senior management rang up student and her mum and all the students in the class. Students all confirmed that they had been taught. What is really funny is that mum of the student in question rang the college to say the allegation was ridiculous as i am the best teacher she has ever had. Bully and stupid friend teacher have been left with egg on their face.

I feel incredibly hurt though as i have helped this idiot teacher out many times and i can't believe she tried to do this. 5 students in the class came out of their way to see me to warn me about an investigation which is nice. They all said i was a fab teacher.

Crumbs! I cried at college as i cannot believe people are still trying to get rid of me. Oh my gosh.

The Act is quite clear in that you request s.78 and the lender complies dispelling any argument you may have, if they cannot do this then you have every right to argue unenforceability.

I can sit here and respond to Egg listing the reasons why it is unenforceable, but why should I? Point is they should be saying to you that it is enforceable - because...... Have just cut and pasted this letter into Word and now I have read it more thoroughly than I did last night, I can appreciate how good it is! Fantastic, in fact! I particularly like the word "vexatious"!

What an awful experience this must have been for you!

I can't believe how much things have changed since my own schooldays. Is anything going to be done about the idiot teacher who started it? Think he/she is the one who should be investigated - all this must have taken loads of resources, to say nothing of the fact that it is not a good use of people's time. I do hope they will do something - you deserve it!

Enjoy the rest of the day - hopefully are at home where you can relax. And try not to dwell on it - easier said than done, I know.

And I am STILL WITHOUT MY CAR! (Didn't realise I would miss it so much!)

Hi S/WBee. It sounds to me like your "friend" teacher may be a wee bit jealous of you. I shouldn't worry about it, take what your students say at face value "you're a fab teacher", they're the ones that count! I've only been on this forum just over a week and I KNOW you're fab!

You got it right SW - idiot teacher - she and the bully are very weak people really if they have to resort to things like this. They are weak and you are strong - you can take that strength from the support your students have given you - the best teacher eh? Remember that - you put so much into your lessons and the students appreciate that obviously

Won't say don't cry - you already have!!! but wipe those tears and puff out your chest - Oooops not that far SW you'll put me eyes out - and be proud of what your students have said about you

Any way Niddy will sort those bullies out if they go too far - he is superman remember

Hi all

Been reading this for a while and it is hilarious, better than any medicine! I don't mean it is stupid, but the conversations make me chuckle, which I have to be careful about if I am reading at work (as I am now).

Ann, you were clearly in your darkest days when you began the thread and all I can say is, that 166 pages on, you sound like a different person. The practical support you are getting from Niddy is second to none (how much has he managed to reduce it by now, I have forgotten) but the moral support from everyone else is amazing.

I have no idea how converations deviate, but is it great having the tag names, because you can be as smutty as you like & no one who you are!. Yesterdays on the coke break man - well what can I say!

SW, you have to focus on the fact that the horrible people are definitely in the minority, so just tell yourself that you are much better than them and that they are little ants which can be walked on. I support families of murder victims in my free time and am currently dealing with a young mum who told me recently that I am the only one who focuses on the positive achievements she has made, they may only be small but they are plus.

Mrs Niddy, you have a star for a hubbie, thanks for sharing him with all of these mad women!
