Don't be so hard on yourself Ann. It was an accident. Crumbs if i ever drive i will have 3 prangs a day getting out of my drive!!!

Nanna, Niddy taught an easy way to get these pictures. I downloaded them but that is not a good idea if you don't have a powerful security devirus thingy.

She's not joking guys......she really can't do roundabouts, any turns of any kind, just straight roads.!!!

She offered to come up and cheer me up last week......!!!!and then says she will let me know if she kills herself whilst doing it.:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like the student my driving instructor told me about, was being taught in an automatic and was told to take 2nd exit at roundabout, missed it and went round and again told to take the exit, again missed it, when asked why not obeying instructions, was told that the car was an automatic and should know how to take the exit itself!

That did make me laugh!

And have just been told that my car is ready!

Now waiting for a taxi arrive to take me to pick it up - extravagant, I know! But, if I walked the garage would be closed by the time I got there - and I have been cutting down shrubs earlier today ....

I cheered up pretty quick I can tell you. Glad to hear your car is fixed, you really miss it. And I really wouldn't worry about paying for a taxi, I think you have earned a bit of a rest after all that gardening.

Hello all,

I am back - with my very posh looking car!

They even cleaned it for me! (Not that I advise that method as an alternative car-wash!)

It took me forever to get a taxi to come for me - didn't realise so many people use them! It did cost £6 but I didn't really begrudge it!

But the garage people have changed the angle of my seat and it takes me forever to get it as I really like it! They also do that - possibly because I am not very tall! Will need to spend some time tomorrow getting it exactly right before my 150 mile drive on Saturday! It's very complicated and I don't have the motivation to do it tonight. And - I have suddenly realised that I am having another rant! Must stop doing this so often!
