oh no raining! I do love Scotland when i went in the summer to the Highlands about 5 years ago it only rained twice. I ate lobster, fantastic seafood, lots of alcohol and saw so many historical places, it was fab. I honestly considered moving up there but i was worried about job situation. Where are you beanielou?

Teaching. But i have only ever taught degree students, or 16-18 year olds. I went to the highlands, mull, loch lomond and did the tourist thing. It seemed so relaxed there. Now i am starting to feel relaxed here in the deep south too.
My friends were talking about this yesterday, there is so much to do here in the British Isles we are soo lucky.
What are you doing poppet?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Hi SW and Beanielou (and anyone else lurking out there!)
Yes, it is still really hot here. In fact, too hot to do anything much at all!
Not sure how long it is going to last - the forecast is talking about rain ...."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
According to the bbc nice weather is due to last for a while. I hope it will for you too but it feels incredibly hot too so maybe we may have surprise rain.
Beanielou, oh gosh, are you on your own? how do you manage?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
