I was just a little bit too young for the hippy movement but I can remember going to Blackpool in the "summer of love" and all the teens were wearing flowers and bells. Not quite San Fransisco...

Do you know the song Everybody's Talking by Nilsson. Oh my gosh, Bob Dylan!!!! Who sang about the 'Age of Aquarius' - it is all coming back to me. When i left university i worked in a record shop and had such a ball with those songs. I used to play a lot of Suzanne Vega and the manager told me off as it was making customers depressed.

Once i played Kumbyah by Peter, Paul and Mary and she went bonkers. She was always writing letters to 10 Downing Street about the fact that the conservative party was too soft. In 1992!!!!
