Hey sunny saffron. It's me. Call me kit'n'caboodle that's what everyone calls me anyway!!!!

Do you know the song Everybody's Talking by Nilsson. Oh my gosh, Bob Dylan!!!! Who sang about the 'Age of Aquarius' - it is all coming back to me. When i left university i worked in a record shop and had such a ball with those songs. I used to play a lot of Suzanne Vega and the manager told me off as it was making customers depressed.

Once i played Kumbyah by Peter, Paul and Mary and she went bonkers. She was always writing letters to 10 Downing Street about the fact that the conservative party was too soft. In 1992!!!!

    Hi SW,

    Good to hear from you!

Was wondering where you had go to!

I always thought Audrey Hepburn was amazing. I really fancied George Peppard but in real life he was violent. So i am not putting a picture of him on here. Alfred hitchcock made beautiful films. Well they wore lovely clothes too. I loved Tippi Hedren.

  • Peace and Love to all you lovlies,

Lurking on the thread this evening as a slow late shift at work and needed to feel some love in the room (and this is always a good place to find some - you guys are so caring!) and what do I find - everyone is back in the Summer of Love. How fantastic!!!

Just had to join in as I wuz there too (nearly at retirement myself) wore all my orange and purple kaftans, flowers, bells the lot.

Loved the Mommas and Pappas and all that flower power movement - gosh you've taken me back- will never get any work done now!

I think my KosmicPink ID would be OK for a hippy though not sure how good I would be with commune living these days (too used to creature comforts)

    Actually Pixiechick,

I never got stoned. When I was at uni we used to get drunk on cheap sherry - you could go to an off-licence with your own bottle and get it filled up for about 5 shillings - 25p in the new money!

And I never, ever drink sherry now!!!

    Hi KosmicPink,

Think that the name already qualifies you as a fully paid-up hippy!
