Sorry to be banging on about the election again but my neighbours daughters polling station ballot box had overflowed and the voting papers had to be forced in! This is really not good enough.:mad:

I must admit that I hadn't really thought about the issues you mentioned - apart from an absolute dread of returning to the Thatcher days - but I am concerned about the Tories. I think anyone working in the public sector - or on any pension greater than the basic state one - will be severely disadvantaged by them.

And I take your point re the biggest minority. There is a big difference.

Will be interesting to see what the outcome will be.

Still working on the debts - and waiting for quite a few letters back!

That is dreadful! It means that anyone could have seen what was on the ballot slip or, if it was crumped, it might have not counted!

Funny, I was thinking of seeing if I could perhaps work at the Polling Station for some extra cash but didn't get round to investigatng it. Now I am so grateful that I didn't.

Hello all. I was asleep due to rubbish blood sugars.

Earlier today the Money Savers Arms had a thread calling for an alternative MSE election just to see who would win. I voted for NID and George UK but now i can't find it (due to low blood sugar probably).

Can anyone else? If you have the time do vote for our heroes 'cos they are much nicer than the real thing.

SW - I don't like that thread at all!!

According to post 7, NID, Mouseann and quite a few others on here are "free-loading scum."

I think the basic idea of the thread is good but it's got ambushed by 'holier-than-thou' types.

Pixiechick, I know i agree. I went back and re-read it. A nice person set it up i think the other contributors are wierdos. Am i allowed to say that?

Please dont read the thread as i dont want it to distress anyone. We already know who the heroes are on MSE. We dont need an election.

I would like to vote for our heroes but when I looked at the thread I could not find a voting bit. Plus, I have just read some of it and there seem to be some quite troll-like comments on there?
