I think I made some fair points, if you care to highlight (and source) where you disagree instead of discrediting my post on the basis that you're an ex-Lloyds TSB employee, so therefore must know more, it would make for a more productive discussion.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -
Well, checked this morning, and nothing has changed, so after I get paid on Thursday and my bills/DD's get paid, I'm off.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

Normally CPD means theres no affordability where as Credit Bureau Data means theres something on the credit report.CIFAS on the other hand is something totally different.Just out of interest where do you find out that your a CPD is this something the branches are telling you? If you use your O/D every month this doesnt warrant a CPD on your account but if your using the full amount every month then thats 1 reason0

Also being an ex employee of Lloyds I remember we valued customers more who used their overdraft facilities rather than someone who kept their account in credit.
Basically the information the OP was given was based on pure speculation by a member of staff. I say this because it was always a big, big secret on how the internal stores were arrived at.
Then why are you quoting me - didn't I say it was sounded stupid that they did this?
But as much as what you say makes sense, there are people on here, who it seems, with good credit histories, have CPD on their accounts for no reason other than using an overdraft!0 -

But havent we since found out that there is a genuine reason why you have a CPD and it is unlikely it will be removed anytime soon - i.e negative CRA data from your partner?0
