Accusations are exactly what you are making, i see from your many previous posts you always try and rip new posters to shreds, well not with me,perhaps you should get your facts right before trying to stir up the usual trouble with new posters such as myself which only happens with a few core posters, yourself included.

What accusations? I said you remind me of another poster. I'm not ripping you to shreds, I was highlighting the mannerisms of your posts strike me as deliberately condescending, and more often than not, unhelpful. My posts may come across as curt, however they're never intended to "stir up the usual (?) trouble". I try to be helpful, not post one-liners with silly emoticons tagged on at the end.
Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.

As it stands, I sent in my electoral registration paperwork in today... give it a few months and lets see what happens.....

Anyway, I think Gordon will need all the votes he can get at the election, so it's about time I chipped in ;)
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Update: Seems that ex gf has gotten a CCJ in my name - I know she obtained credit in my name in 2006 without my knowledge and defaulted twice (that is being dealt with along with a push for prosecution) - however I now see a CCJ is there also!! Have tried emailing Northampton Court over it but no reply yet........ Looks like I'm a CPD 99 for at least 4 years now :mad::mad::mad::mad:

At least I can vote... (Woo Yay! LOL)

At least this solves the mystery as to why you are CPD. :o

My other half has an Credit Policy decline on her account - not sure why. She has 1k overdraft facility which never been used. Overdraft has been revewed and LTSB agreed it for further one year. She has applied for anothe Classic account online via internet banking which has been agreed and she has received the debit card - the 2nd account was never credit checked.

But ..... Ltsb will not offer any credit card to her or increase in further lending because of that mark. She has no problem with her credit rating and recently been approved for Halifax One card.

We have written a letter together and appealed against the Credit Card turned down decision - enclosing her Asda credit card statements and her Savings statements which had around 9k but they declined it again.

Not sure how to remove that mark from her account . She is just fed up now and deciding to close the account and re-open it in 6 months time. Possbily because of proper credit check - "Credit Policy Declined" mark is removed from her new account.

We cant think of any other way.

I opened Lloyds TSB account (Platinum with £250) over a year ago, and my score was a neutral score of 4. They have upgraded my account to Premier but discovered after applying for Air Miles Duo CC, that I had a CPD 99 on my account!

I have to admit that i only used the account for paying bills and occasional payments. My credit history is decent except for 1,2 and 3 late payments markers on one account back in 2004 that will be removed on my credit files in Oct of this year.

I guess if i start using the account as my main account, crediting decent amounts and start saving for 6-8 months, then it will change.
  • How is it possible to have a credit policy decline and still have an OD?

When my partner first opened up the account 2 yrs ago - there was no credit policy decline mark on the account so after couple of months, running the account - . she applied for an overdraft which was agreed online. Six months later she applied online for a credit card which was declined and that was the end of further lending - after that point LTSB lending Dept has placed "Credit Policy Decline" mark on the account.

  • why do I keep reading that LSTB stick CPD on perfectly well run accounts??!!
