Thank you, thank you OP, I went VERY late last night after reading this and managed to get lots. I even checked with customer services who couldn't believe it (and promptly got a basket and filled it with products for themselves!). Me and my mum are v happy! :T

I ordered three for £2.00 without realising it was a glitch! When they arrived, one of them was for straight hair and the rest for curly (which is what I wanted) so I returned the one for straight hair. Now I am wondering if I will lose the offer and have to pay full price for the other two.

  • I've been trying very hard not to buy any more toileteries and stuff (have enough) but I couldn't resist the lure of this amazing offer! :D My delivery arrived this morning, it should have come to £20 + delivery but was charged full price of £142.40. They'd also substituted about 10 of the items, but all with others from within the range on promotion, and all pretty good substitutes.

I accepted the delivery and had to speak to customer services 3 times, but the lady I spoke to was friendly and helpful, just had trouble explaining the offer was "3 for £2" and not "3 for 2" which is what she thought it should have been. She thought it hadn't worked cos of the substitutions, even though they were supposed to be included in the offer, so it all took a while to sort out.

Eventually she said she will be refunding me the difference, and I will receive a confirmation email shortly! (Nothing yet, so may have to make another call...)

If anyone else is expecting a delivery, I would say to accept it and get straight to customer service, AS LONG as you have money/overdraft to cover full amount just in case there is a delay in refunding you. Even if they refuse to honour it, they will need to sort it out anyway, if that is the case, you should try to get a money off voucher off your next order for the inconvenience caused.

So providing you can cover the cost until they refund you - you'll either end up with enough hair products for you, family and friends and all your neighbours like me :), or give it back to Tesco, get a full refund and hopefully money off your next order for the inconvenience. Win - win situation! :)

I can't see the 3 for £2 when i log on anymore :( ordered yesterday and rang this morning to cancel my order and the man said he would cancel it for me, but not sure whether or not he has done. very worried as I can't afford to pay the full price of everything i ordered :(

If he said that it was cancelled, then it should be. No harm in phoning to check or phoning the tesco.com dept of your local store.

If you do receive the order then either:

refuse the delivery and they will refund the cost

    or

accept the delivery and then argue with CC - I can't see any incidence on this forum where they've refused to refund the difference

That would make me so mad! I just assumed that they were discontinuing some of the lines, or were bringing in a change of packaging! You are bound to order a lot of something if you think it is a great price, aren't you? Please don't say it's just me...:o

How flippin' rude - what's it got to do with her how much you ordered? Let's face it though, she's probably just jealous cos she missed out on the deal! :D
  • Well, I just wanted to say thank you once again to the OP - I've put the little boy down for his afternoon nap and have just had the longest, hottest shower washing all over with my bargain BS grapefruit shower gel and my hair now looks like the Timotei woman's, all shiny and gorgeous!

I feel as fresh as a bloomin' daisy! :rotfl:

btw, the shelf edge tickets in store say 3 for £2 so it can't be a glitch, fight your corner!
