its supposed to be next day delivery but an item that was sent to me on monday has still not been received and i need it asap . Most items i buy only take a day or two to arrive

100% sure the seller sent it

Has anybody had late deliveries from royal mail first class?

Sounds a bit worrying for first class, maybe it's been lost of nabbed by the postman
If the seller doesnt have any proof of postage I dont think there is much you can do.
I suppose all you can do is wait

yeah im going on holiday next week!

do they deliver on saturdays?!

if i dont receive the item by tommorow..the seller will send me proof of postage but then claiming compensation for the lost item takes 2-4 weeks and as im going abroad..there wont be any time for that!

Yer post comes on Saturdays but not Sundays
Yer I think you may have to claim unless it turns up shame it takes a long time , if I were you, i would now make a complaint/enquiery because first class postage has been paid for but that service has not happened.

dont think ill be getting it because the same msg comes up for 'second delivery next day'

Is this item bigger than the letter box?
Tried calling your local royal mail delivery office?
I had an item the post office claimed an attempted delivery had been made and a card left - no card was left, it was waiting at the sorting office.

gosh ive got so many local branches!
