    4/4 for me so far!

The hardest thing at the moment seems to be resisting the urge to eat my lunch at 11am.

Good work everyone, I love this thread!

Hiya - just found your thread - need ideas on what to take to work for my lunches cos I try to avoid bread (it bloats me up terribly) and I get fed up of soup. What kind of things do you all take to work - apart from sandwiches or soup?

I do make sandwiches a lot but other things I like are:

Making extra quanitities of stew, casserole etc and taking leftovers in with cous cous, potatoes etc (no microwave at my work; I eat it cold or could heat and carry in in a flask)

Use cold roast chicken leftovers to make a chicken salad

Containers of barley and spinach risotto

Cous cous or rice with roast veg

I also take in a few pieces of fruit or a box of chopped raw veg and salad (tomatoes, carrots, lettuce)

Noodles are a good snack or top up if you get hungry - I keep a bowl and spoon at work for these

    :-)

So today I finished off my couscous dish but because I didn't have much of it left I supplemented it with a small sushi pack from Sainsbury's that only cost me £1.00. I wouldn't class this as buying lunch as it was a small spend. x

I managed three days out of five (not bad) so have 3/14 on my targets.

Can I say one other thing? I paid off my credit card in full yesterday. I still have a mortgage and a car loan, but no other debt. No cards. It feels strangely liberating!
