This really is the best way. For years supermarkets have been much smaller to me than many as I don't go down packet food aisles, magazine aisles, crisp and confectionery aisles......there is the green grocer bit, the meat bit, the dairy bit, the cleaning and loo roll bits....the wine bits....:T:T any thing ese is an adventure fraught with danger...:o:o
I do that too - my mum ambles up and down every aisle, umming and ahhing at everything (which is precisely what they want you to do!). I do much shopping in less than half the time

Re the little pots and jars, if you still have them, I'd keep them if you find them pretty and think you'll find a use for them :)

    - I have to say, I'm in a bit of a huff with Marie Claire atm, since it stopped sending the free gifts to it's subscribers. I won't be renewing!

Well it was probably aimed at kids being a Pooh product. I wouldn't recommend scrubby stuff on younger skin to be honest :(.
Get some Flake Away, now THAT is a scrub! :)
Flake Away is the dogs'! hyper_fast.gif

I've said a few times that although I love the smell of the scrubs I've used, they've never really been scrubby enough - that's why I usually prefer plain showergel and exfoliating gloves, but I got some of this in my hatbox and oh my god! I thought I was gonna have my skin off :T

I have to confess-ish... My daughter is three (so needs a bit of a hand with pressies :A) and mothers' day is coming up and, let's face it, I already know I'm the mum's best mum (;):p) so I don't need any more trinkets, lovely though they are. So, I got some cherry body butter using the SHEA_MUM glitch, so it cost 25p (and 4p cashback!)... I just hope they deliver it :o:rotfl: And a tub of flake away in boots, cos it's a 1/3rd off, so it cost £4.33 but I paid in points. I know I'm not exactly in desperate need of any body butter, but for that price, I couldn't pass up the chance of having it delivered and I'm almost finished my little tub of flake away and at least they will be getting used and then thrown (less clutter :T) - not just displayed :p

Spent (on behalf of littlie) 25p - 4p cashback.

Organising a car boot for the weekend, and would like some opinions girls, I am going to fill a box with loads of nail varnishes (I must have about 15 No7 varnishes used once or twice and god knows how many other brands...) and maybe ask for say, 25p per bottle. Would any of you buy these or is that a bit you know, skanky? I'm not sure, they're all perfectly useable and I'm loathe to bin them but I know I won't use them again. Any input would be fab ladies! :)

I've sold quite a few on ebay before :)

Check them before you put them out for sale, if they look gloopy you'd be better just binning them.

Sorry for the ridiculously long post - I've had to catch up on half the thread :o

I'm getting bored with things now so I'm rotating regularly. I won't let DH use the John Frieda shampoo as it's for dark brown hair and he's not dark. He can use up the boots baby shampoo which we will all move onto too when we've used up the brown one. Still trawling through the tresemme but felt I ought to try and use the John Frieda conditioner with his shampoo. DH has been using the hairspray on DS's hair at the weekends. I will be putting it on DD too as she keeps getting crawlies and I've heard that hairspray can keep them at bay.

    Afternoon ladies

Just a quick update on usage:

Nivea Visage Aqua Sensation Anit-Shadow Eye Cream - WIBA? No, made my eyes water far too many times :(

Trevor Sorbie Colour Conditioner (travel size) - WIBA? Not a fan of the smell to be honest, I still have a full-size bottle to use, but for the moment I've gone onto one of the Charles Worthington I got via Tesco glitch which has lovely scent, but may eventually just stick with Aussie Formula Colour Mate

I got one of those too and I am going to use it up tomorrow as I have loads of sachets waiting to be used...

I had also signed up for the simple lip gloss and it never arrived, I must say I am feeling a bit of a sigh of relief though because I have about a million other lip glosses to use and didn't really need another one... :rotfl:

Thanks to everyone for your advice about the eyebrow pencils, I am going to have a look at the No7 ones tomorrow to see if they will suit my colouring as they will only be about £2.00 with the voucher! :j

He's a bit mad for me too - very funny!

I've had a busy weekend (in a good way, lots of parties and catching up with friends), so just catching up on the thread now - I'll go through properly later, but wanted to give a quick update on what I've used up over the weekend:
    - Sample pot of Clinique Repairwear intensive eye cream WIBA? No - it's nice, but I think their All About Eyes stuff is better.
    - Sample pot of Clinique Superdefence moisturiser WIBA? No - didn't moisturise that much, and stung slightly on dry areas of skin! That's not what a moisturiser should do?!
    - Pack of cotton wool pads from Boots WIBA? Yes - better than others I've tried, but I've got plenty to get through before i need to buy again :rotfl:
    - Body Shop Cocoa Body Butter WIBA? No - I love their body butter, but didn't like the smell of this one. I'll aoid it, but buy others in future. Still have 2 to get through (non Cocoa!), as well as several other body butters/lotions :D

    Nothing spent, woohoo!

I've been using a sample I got of the Youth Code eye cream. Love it. WBA - Yes, cheaper than the Clinique and Bliss Eye creams I've been using and just as good. I'm finding that L'Oreal and Garnier are really good products (and cheap). :T

I'm sure I read somewhere that L'Oreal is owned by the same company as Lancome.

L'oreal is the company that owns Lancome and a million other brands are also owned by L'oreal including the Body Shop.

One of the other big companies is Estee Lauder and that owns MAC I think.

I'm new to this but have been meaning to sort out my toiletries stash for ages so today was the day.

    I've only done my stores that I keep in the airing cupboard but I have;

14 shower gels of various descriptions
    4 pump handwashes
    10 toothbrushes
    4 tubes of toothpaste
    6 sun products
    5 razors
5 packets of wipes in various guises
    6 bottles of shampoo
    5 deodorants
    3 tubs of face pads
    2 boxes of hair treatments
    6 body moisturisers
    2 sets of facial mositurisers
5 boxes of tampons (can still never find one when I need them)
    Lots of odd bits

I haven't even looked in the two bathroom cabinets, the very large leather storage box in our ensuite or the two bamboo waste bins I keep stuff in.

I also have about 20 bottles of perfume and six boxes of make-up and nail varnish.

I'm going to order the stuff in the airing cupboard first and then put them back before I attempt anything else.

He's gonna do it again in a minute... I've just had a dispatch email for the body butter, 25p for a body butter and some gift bags :T:D
