    Hia,

    Used up:
Nivea Happy shower cream - it's ok, I like the smell. WIBA, mmm probably not it's ok, not amazing though.

Body Shop vitamin E body lotion - WIBA nope! Very watery. I could keep reapplying it all day, useless, sorry BS.

I had a splurge with make-up items though, but I'm struggling to find a decent quick to apply foundation (like a compact powder type) for my skin. It's orange city all the way. Anyway I used lots of offers to counteract my spend. It was spent using money normally spent on fuel normally spent galvanting(sp?) around shops...
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

PYNM - first time in weeks as I've been a busy wee bee - No7 Speed Dry in 'Blackberry'. Looks a bit vampy for daytime, but what the hell!
Organising a car boot for the weekend, and would like some opinions girls, I am going to fill a box with loads of nail varnishes (I must have about 15 No7 varnishes used once or twice and god knows how many other brands...) and maybe ask for say, 25p per bottle. Would any of you buy these or is that a bit you know, skanky? I'm not sure, they're all perfectly useable and I'm loathe to bin them but I know I won't use them again. Any input would be fab ladies! :)
I popped round to my friend's house this morning to drop off a hat she left here last weekend (freezing in Glasgow this morning and I thought she might need it!) I slipped a John Frieda Serum inside it, so that will be a wee surprise for her when she goes to put it on (and lowers my stash!).
Hope you all have a fab, pampered, beautiful skinned week girls and that the sun is shining wherever you are!

    Quote:
I have taken a lot of unused makeup/nail varnishes etc to car boot sales. At one every bit sold and at the more recent one, nothing did  So I had to bring them home.
I think 25p each is reasonable for them.

    Good luck

Well, now have the internet at home, :T

I have used up in the last week:

A Dove deodarant, WIBA yes, but have 12 in the cupboard.
A bottle of Rochas Alchimie perfume, WIBA, Yes yes and more yes, but is discontinued can only get it on ebay from a very nice man in Portugal :(
Emptied 3 more bottles of hotel shampoos into the pump dispenser, I think these breed in the cupboard.
Gave away 4 more hotel soap as they are seem to be multiplying fairly fast.
A botanics hair mask WIBA no, couldn't do anything with my hair for days after, it made it too soft.A tube of toothpaste and now on the last one in the cupboard :T
I have a very sore face. I think it must be the combination of stuff I am using on it. It is really red and irritated. Having to use the stuff I know I am ok with now for a while till it calms down. I think it is a No7 moisturiser which has done it, but not 100% sure yet. It looks awful.

Edit: Oh yes, I have also put some bits and pieces into some ebay parcels I have sent. Still got millions of little samples etc to use up.

5 boxes of tampons (can still never find one when I need them)

    Why is his?

I have exactly the same. I leave an emergency stash in each handbag I own (I'm never quite sure when I'll need one, how I wish I was one of those won who did, done to the minute know....). I have some in my suitcase, in the car, at DH's london place (where I've never been) in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and yet when I need one they are NEVER there.

The tampon fairy is in cahoots with the odd sock fairy....they are a nasty, nasty duo.

My odd sock fairy got so bad, I took to just buying multi packs of plain coloured socks (white and black). That way, I don't have the frustration of getting rid of one (after the obligatory searching for weeks)... and then finding the blasted other one  :o:rotfl:

OK- 296 posts into march! I need to subscribe again, I missed you all !

I have been using up quite a lot:
Sainsburys Coconut conditioner -WIBA yes its one of my faves
Happy time body lotion- WIBA- no it smells of calpol.
Dove silk shower gel- WIBA- it ws ok, prefer Waitrose cinammon cakes which is usually cheaper so when I go to waitrose that is next.
used sachet of DIOR facial serum that I got in a mag WIBA no way OH said my face seemed really sticky and he found a bit of "product" on his own face that he thought was his own dry skin peeling off ( it wasnt at all!) Not good!
Used up dove soaps now in the laundry gloop, it has done the dry excema the world of good to stop using commercial powders.

I have now relented and started using the large blue carex shower gel. Actually its really not bad to be honest, I do prefer more "cream style" shower washes but I wil plough on with this till I go to waitrose and get cin cakes again, or find something I do like round the £1 mark ( eg cashmere moments or honey natural source)

The carex is the last SG - the stash of them is almost gone!! :T
I Have decided I will not spend more than £1 on a shower gel for the rest of this year as there is really no need there are a few I really like that are often on offer/ £1 shops/ wilkos.
Looks like these hair vouchers need loads of booking in advance so I am going to have no choice but to book in at the usual salon. I go to trevor sorbie usually. I did see a voucher on vouchercloud for 50% off a cut & BD at a different salon but im not sure about going new places unless its practically free. :o

Hair long overdue a cut now so will try to book in at TS this weekend.

Have to admit as I havent been on here, a lot less pampering has been done! Think it calls for tonight, immac the legs, papmper feet and toes, face mask and the full gamut.

better get back into it :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Evening everyone :)

I had a very nice facial at the Clarins Red Room, got the freebie moisturiser via She magazine, some sample products, and put the £15 booking fee towards a foaming wash, so pretty productive, however because of my age I think the girl thought I needed super-hydrating which isn't the case, and I actually felt a bit shiny after it all, but it was lovely having a 3rd party apply stuff to my face while I lied back with my eyes closed

I painted my nails a bright Nails Inc red last night, but once again, am not impressed with the product. I used my No 7 base and top coats so maybe that has something to do with it? The Boots brands of polishes I use look and last better to be honest!

    Okay, confession time _pale_

Got the Clarins mini-treats which is allowed :A

Bought a tub of Mande Lular Shimmering Body Souffle on clearance at Boots for £2 and some Veet wax strips for 50p each :o

Took advantage of the last Body Shop glitch and ordered a lip balm and 2 packs of cotton pads for £4 inc p&p - TWICE! Am sending the extra set back, though, as I don't need them all that much!

And got the really lovely Estee Lauder bag from Debenhams last week with the purchase of lip pencil (which I needed), and a toner (which I didn't) but will use it eventually :embarasse
Can fully recommend the Beauty Bible series though (they do a Beauty Steals one for around a tenner).
:shhh: It's only £6.74 at Tesco Books,

I'll take whatever penance I need to for my purchases, but absolve myself for the info written in invisible type ;)

Right, thanks to a silly row between me, my gardening gloves and some roses yesterday I've just had a quick shower with rubber gloves on: taking the gloves off before remembering about skin care and body butter etc. TBH, I can't be bothered to try and get those gloves on again...it took ages! so the indent into the stash is minimal ...

*wonders what that 3-way fight must have looked like* :rotfl:

I skipped a night last week due to an especially long day where I was too knackered to even care about the beauty ritual - it's only a blip and the stuff will be used up soon enough :)

Forgot another purchase last week - a No 7 cream/stick blusher which I needed for my handbag, using the £5 voucher :(

And got the first 2 of my magazine subscription gifts - the Body Shop Maringa (?) shower gel and body butter, and Simple day, night, and eye creams :o
