Asda - grrrr!

I'd never use asda delivery again, supposing I'd have to crawl to a shop on my hands knees I'd never use them.
Over a month ago I ordered my shopping, on the delivery the shopping didn't arrive so half an hour after the slot I called c/s to see where its at, oh the van had broken down, its on another van? I will called the store, the call you back...anyway cut a long story short after being fobbed off I cancelled the order on the morning of day two. I simply couldn't wait any longer.
Asda have still took the money from my account for shopping I've never recived, I have rang c/s and been fobbed off to call the bank to ask them where my money is, the bank don't want to know, they tell me to call asda, asda tell me to call the bank.
The fob me off on the phone ignore my emails, and I wouldn't care if I was rude in either the emails or on the phone but I never am.
So somewhere I have over £50 "lost" and without a clue where to or what to do next to get this money back! Other than simply writing off as a bad debt?
any progress on this?0 -
I'm not happy with them either. On Friday my order arrived without many of the items. I didn't realised until after I'd started to unpack. Basically, all the meat and most of the frozen items (about £30 worth) was missing. I called CS would said the store would call me back to arrange delivery. Just after I finished speaking to CS the driver called to say that he'd found some of my order in the next delivery. He came back but only about 75% of the order was there. He checked his van for the rest but couldn't find anything so he said he'd make a note of it back at the store.
On Sat afternoon no call from store so called CS. Same on Sunday. Not heard anything. Very bad CS! I'm guessing that they'll just refund the missing items now, however, this will cost me more because I got the 4x cod fillets that were on HUKD on the 4 for £3 offer. They're usually £2 each but I only received 3 out of the 4. If they refund the missing one then I won't qualify for the offer so will end up paying £6 for 3 packs instead of £3 for 4 pack.
This has finally been sorted so I have decided to give an update! Asda still hadn't refunded the missing items (about £30 worth) about 23rd March so I gave them a call. The girl I spoke to apologised and told me that she's put teh refund through and give me a £10 e-voucher. Checked yesterday and the refund had been made, a £10 voucher was available and free delivery.
I'm happy with the outcome but disappointed that it took so long to get sorted out and so many phone calls!0 -
any progress on this?
Nope nothing.
I've sent a few emails but they don't want to know no replies nothing.
Sorry Haven't been on here for a while to answer sooner.Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0 -
A couple of years ago I had a delivery from asda. It was the day before my wedding and we were holding the reception at the house, so when the order of supplies/drinks/decorations arrived I didn't have time to check it as I was bringing it in.
It wasn't until the next morning when I was laying the buffet table out that I noticed I had somethings I was sure I hadn't ordered. I went through the order form and the bags (which I hadn't unpacked, just shoved the fridge ones in the fridge and left the others out) and realised that I actually had about 60 pounds worth of food on top of my actual order!
I'd already opened most of the packets and didn't have the time to wait for someone to pick the rest up so I just kept quiet and thought of it as a wedding present from asda :rotfl:I understand the concept of cooking and cleaning, just not how it applies to me:D

I have a missing items world record tonight!!!!!!! 27!!!
4 x 1kg baked beans
1 x 4kg washing powder
2 x fabric conditioner
...and 20 tins of food.
Just played merry watsit at the useless girl on the service desk. who couldn't arrange re-delivery........ after a 15 minute wait on hold. Waiting for a manager to call me back. meanwhile I get a voicemail to say "oh we've found some shopping on the van we'll bring it round later.......... ring me back............on my mobile (but no number as it was a voicemail)"
They will be at least paying the £4.80 mobile phone bill when it comes through.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
