Asda - grrrr!

They're entitled to change the offer. You pay on the day what they are in the store. Check the pies are still on offer on the website.
I've actually just noticed that I was charged £8 for the 4x cod fillets. They're no longer on the offer so I can only assume they were no longer on the offer when my order arrived. I think that i'm going to check my order a lot more carefully when it arrives in the future. I could use tesco but of course Asda is cheaper (and quicker as I've got my previous orders I can go through quickly to add to my basket).
i do know that!! i actually did check and they were on a different offer - my mistake.
it tells you when you check out if your offer is no longer valid on date ord er is placed for - i remember now it told me the pie offer was not on the 4 for £3 so guess it changed to this.
i am now laughing at the fact they have delivered me parsley sauce not parsley. :rotfl:loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Ive had various problems mainly with Tesco and Asda (non delivery of items, missing items etc) but have to say best "substitute" was once with Tesco and when i had a quick scan at the substitutions, they had substituted one of the items we ordered with some pepparami spicy.... now this would have been OK, but we actually ordered some fromage frais yoghurts for our 12 month old daughter.... the delivery guy said do i still want them! Told him politely that i didnt think our 12 month old daughter would want them...0

I had the same problem yesterday with Asda - three hours later than I expected, no phone calls to explain either. The call centre guy was helpful but it took him almost 2hrs to get through to the store (I couldn't get through either).
So, delivery arrived 3hrs late and I read through the bill/reciept to check. Yep, all my items are there correctly but they were not charging me the £80 odd I was expecting, it was £333..... On my bill (I checked the order numbers on this sheet and they were mine) it had £33 in savings listing countless items I hadn't bought, but the actual list of items were definitely mine. The driver and I agreed that I should refuse it as it would be likely I would be charged incorrectly.
It was just annoying - I had birthday cake on it for my daughter and all the party food; I had ordered online as the kids are sick. I had to drag ill children out this morning to get another one. At least the people I spoke to were really nice and helpful - just a shame about their computer system.0 -
I'm guessing that they'll just refund the missing items now, .
Don't assume anything. Last year Asda missed off a bag of my frozen stuff - only about £7 worth though, so not a lot. It cost me £5 in phone calls to sort it out to be told it would eventually be delivered the next day (it wasn't). Due to circumstance I forgot all about this and realised about a month later I hadn't been refunded either.0 -
I have received no answer to my email! I've sent another, if not will have to phone. I wonder why they get it SO wrong?!:mad:0

Whilst you don't get as many offers I always use Ocado for home delivery because they are so reliable. I don't have a car so I rely on them bringing me everything I've ordered. To date I have never had a substitution. I also get a text a few hours before as a reminder and letting me know that everything is there. I guess if I ever did have something missing then it would give me time to pick something up. I am always tempted to try somewhere cheaper but I know I'd be annoyed if it went wrong!0

Well i'm sitting here livid i was expecting an Asda delivery between 7-9pm tonight and nothing! I looked online and there's a helpline number, well some helpline i've tried 3 times the last time was an automated voice telling me not to hang up i held on for 5 minutes still no answer. What a way to run a business. I've emailed twice and have had no replies.:mad::mad::mad::mad:I love this place :j:T:j0

They've been quite good with me in the past refunding the odd missing item. I was going to ring tonight but forgot!0 -

What number did you call on? I've never had a problem getting though on 0844 8733333. Always answered immediately after pressing the option.0 -
I must be one of the lucky ones, never had a problem with ASDA delivery so far. Friends of mine have had deliveries but no frozen or fresh goods.
First thing the driver said to them is I have no frozen delivery for you! If I were the driver I think I would have been to embarrased to even chap his door0
