    Morning all!

Not much flying yesterday and it shows - had day off with migraine....spent a couple of hours hiding under the duvet and then wandered round in a daze!

I am pleased to report that DS had a great 18th - he forgot his key and slept at his mates...and arrived back here at about 11am - he was tired...but none the worse for his adventures!

DD2 came home at 1.15 - coughing and spluttering. In the afternoon DS put his birthday present together - a punchbag and stand..and DD2 curled up on a sofa and watched a Dr Who with me and themn some old episodes of CSI.

We were surprised and delighted when DD1 joined us - she is still coming downstairs on her bum but this time she did it on her own without help!

And to add to it all - I was asleep by 9.30....and I slept until 6.30 this morning! BLISS!

So not much flying done yesterday....but LR and hall were done on Sunday...so I'm off to catch up on yesterday's list. We are promised sun and blue skies today so may even put the washing out!...........

Positive vibes to all who need - I'm off to declutter a cup of tea and do the washing up!

Morning all, just about to make a start on the day. Going to do 20 minutes of comping and then 40 minutes of housework from the list - will keep doing this till the list is done. keeps my RSI at bay that way. Thanks for my star yesterday. Came down this morning and kitchen still looks lovely - so easy to keep tidy once its already clean and decluttered!

    Hugs Ishtar and your mum

Soappie well done on doing so well yesterday
Millie I hope your cold is better soon

Welcome newbies, this is a great thread, you will love it here!

Frodders I’m so pleased to hear about little shadow, what a relief for you all! His parents must be worn out but delighted!

Hugs AJ sounds like a nightmare. It will soon be over, just focus on the fact that you can go home again in a few days

PenPen I hope your son gets good results and you do too with your manager

Yorkie delighted to hear DD1 came down on her own, that’s fab!

Pigpen and everyone, you are so wise and completely right! My friends came and I can’t believe the difference in my flat! Two went in to the kitchen and completely rearranged everything, and it looks like a new kitchen! The other lady, Tim and I tackled under the bed and it’s completely empty under there now, and so is everywhere around it. It looks absolutely fantastic! We threw out at least 4 black sacks of stuff, and they also took away various things with them that we didn’t need anymore and they could make use of/knew people who would like them.
There are still quite a few things in the LR that we put in the “keep pile” and need to find homes for, but we will sort that gradually over the next few days.

I'm off out for a walk now, I've got to get a few bits in the village too so am going to combine the two things. See you all later, better go and get ready

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
