    Feeling better today so will have a bash at todays list (may skip moving the furniture:D)

    Welcome to the newbies, my house was a tip until I started following this thread. I am very grateful to the 3 muskateers for getting me organised;)

    Off to do HHI now (Well shake it hard so it doesn't need the I:rotfl:)

    Since last post i have.....
    Put washing on line
    2nd load in WM
    Stripped Bed
    Flipped & hoovered materess
    Remade bed
    Dust & deweb
    Cleaned mirror
    Hoovered floor
    Tidied wardrobes & drawers
    Rehoovered landing – DD2 must have dropped glitter all over it this morning, which explains why it was all down the front of her uniform this morning,
    Sorted one black bag of outgrown/unworn/no longer fits clothes from all our wardrobes as part of the Anniversary declutter

    Now having a quick cuppa before i start again

    Its a really lovely day here and I really hope it stays this way for the next few days as I need to cut the grass but it needs to dry out a bit first
    Only 1 more thing to do before I can get todays star but I'm off to the declutter thread now

    I'm in again. I can't believe how much better 'parts' of my house look already. And I only started flying last week.

    I am definitely in again. I want my house clean & tidy, clean & tidy, clean & tidy....... wanders off muttering mantra.........



    Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining area
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe table!
    [/STRIKE]

    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
    [/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Scrub out the sink and polish the taps
    [/STRIKE]

    Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!
    Level Three
    Wipe over the oven and hob and fridge
    Clean out the freezer.. defrost if necessary but just emptied and sorted otherwise.. scrub those door seals!
    Clean out the cupboard with the pet food/miscellaneous items!


    Extras
    1. Scrub tiles
    2. dust and deweb!
    3. [STRIKE]Wash small appliances and replace [/STRIKE]
    4. wipe the fluffy tops of appliances!
    Tuesday ~ Living room, reception rooms and hallway
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and vacuum floors[/STRIKE]
    Wash any soft furnishings and plump pillows and fluff throws - don't have any
    Level Two
    Vacuum under sofa cushions and wipe away any gungy marks
    [STRIKE]Tidy coats, bags and shoes[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can safely move[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Tidy understair/hall cupboard - you must be joking :eek: you are joking, right? Oh dear, you're not joking, she's not joking...... gulp!
    Dust and deweb
    Polish glass and metals and mantel


    Extras
    1. Wash windows and curtains
    2. Clean out fire..arrange for chimneys to be swept.. every 6 months if you burn wood and smokey fuel!
    3. Wipe doors and skirtings
    4. Catch up on any important phone calls

    Today's list done.


    I've also done all the bedrooms (I'll claim for them when the time comes round) and I've got two loads of washing out in the sunshine, including my bedding.

    Some bits done for the decluttering thread, so I'll head over there next.

    I know I've got ahead of myself but if I don't do stuff when I'm in the right mood it's hard to get motivated.
