    Flights are with ryanair
You can do this yourself, £ 186. 00 for all three but not to get charged charges you need to get a fairfx mastercard - https://www.fairfx.com
    Easy to do.
Luggage - I noticed that has not been charged for, take hand luggage - free 1 cabin case each.
Hotels - https://www.a1travel.com lots of all inc hotels - some very nice ones in Lloret-del-mar for all inclusive for 3 of you - £ 350.00
    So Far £ 536. 00
Now transfers to lloret del mar from airport anybody got any ideas as i need more time to look this up.
What do you think so far.

Very good , but a 'seasoned ' traveller might get away with only hand luggage ( males)
but to ask female teenagers , is a step too far.

silverhairgranny lost me already wots a fairfax master card ? luggage will be a prob as girls will want to take a lot
  • a fairfx mastercard is a pre paid credit card, ryanair take this and they dont charge charges for using it like they would a debit or other credit card. go to the website https://www.fairfx and apply, you dont even need a credit check - takes 5-10 days to arrive. when arrived load it by following the instructions presto - book flights. Also check out the fairfx link
if the girls want to take lots of clothes. - book 1 case between them and still have 1 each cabin cases. But if you want to become a seasoned traveller get the girls to use one cabin case each and bribe them with the extra money for a shopping tripp (providing it fit in the case on the way back of course or a special treat on holiday) its £ 90. 00 after all £ 30. 00 each.
The hotel can be booked yourself on the a1 site - have you looked whats on offer. PM me with your number and I will ring you after 6 tomorrow if you like to answer your questions.

BEFORE you book anything google Review + the name of the hotel (and location if you can) and read all the reviews on the hotel and area. You will always get some complainers but if the majority like it, you might too.

Also check on Trip Advisor on the hotel and in the forums too.

If you want a cheap warm holiday I would keep out of the Eurozone and go to Turkey - again, check on Trip Advisor forums as some areas are cheaper than others. Its Turkish Lira there. You must take a ten pound note for every person going through customs at the Turkish end. No other denomination will do.

Some people will tell you All Inclusive is better and othes will say its cheaper or nicer not too. Its basically horses for courses and checking the reviews to make your mind up.

Regarding suitcases I always pack some clothing essentials for my children and myself in our hand luggage -just in case the main cases get lost. Usually some swimwear and underwear, a T-shirt and a pair of shorts or something along those lines.

Beware any transfers that are longer than 1 hour (or 1.5 hours). My son who has never been car sick in his life threw up en route to our hotel once. Ruined all his clothes and ours! Perhaps take some anti sickness tablets just in case.

Remember about no liquids in your hand luggage (someone else can explain about 100ml worth allowed in see through bags coz Im not up to date on it all).

Spending money -its best to ask on Trip Advisor in the relevant forum for your hotel or area.

Let us know where you book in the end.

Oh and take about 20 clothes pegs and a long piece of string in case your hotel has nowhere to hang clothes to dry. Just hanging them over the balcony means they can blow away -even beach towels known to blow away.

Hi Janey, the thing is cause its thier first time abroad you automically think of taking 14 changes for 14 days, but you always end up with coming home with stuff you havent worn.
You can all share the same hair straighteners, share same shampoo, just tell the girls that they cant each take thier favourite products, share the same toothpaste, cut down on make-up, if need be buy your suntan lotian after you have weighed in and buy it as you go through duty free, this will cut down on some weight.
lay all your clothes out on the bed, see what can go with what, red top can go with trousers and a skirt etc, you will be suprised how much you can save by doing this, cut down on sandles and bags.

TBH, no one takes a blind bit of notice what you wear, or you have used the same black bag for 3 days running lol.
Make the girls compromise, explain the more bags you take the more money it costs, say if thats the case then you have to cut down on thier spending money, or get them to contribute.

if your slumming by the pool, then you dont need much changes of clothes as you can wash bikinis and shorts at night.
Mix and match skirts and shorts, tops etc for the night time.

If you had seen what I used to take, and I always ended up with loads of stuff I didnt use.
I would wear the same trousers twice, but maybe with a different light top, or the same light top with a skirt or shorts.
Cut down on your knickers and bras, take a few pairs, but wash them out too.
Find out if your hotel supplies beach towels, if they do, you are saving weight there.

Yes its a nightmare, you are allowed one see thru bag per person, the size of a plastic sandwich bag, you can put in lipsticks, eyeshadows etc, as long as all the stuff can be seen and the bag can be sealed, so no poking through the top of the sandwich bag.

You are only allowed 100 mls to go through as hand luggage so thats suntan lotian out of the question lol.

I even pack my shoes, 2x bags, books, sunglasses camera etc in my hand luggage, as well as anything else small I can get away with.
