I currently have 7 credit cards, use all but the one that is on 0% for everyday spending on purchases. Can get some nice interest free periods by arranging my finances this way, probably not for everyone though!

I only got one... Tesco Clubcard CC. I got a decent limit of 4K so no need for me to apply for further credit cards.

I only got one, payoneer credit card. Having lots of credit cards means higher risk of getting uncontrollable debt. And since I am not in need of many credit cards, I decided that one is enough for me and should use it wisely and budget all my money.

    4 in total.

Egg Money - Excellent cashback card
Egg Card - Higher limit for major emergencys
    Nationwide - Overseas transactions
Sainsburys - Nectar points, but as good as Egg Money elsewhere but good for Sainsburys where I shop!

So 2 day to day spending cards, 1 overseas card and 1 emergencys card.

    3. all are paid off in full each month. used to have amex for cashback but cancelled it in the end.

1 is cashback (not a lot) and also has low international loading of exchange rates so good for holidays - visa.
    1 is rewards - mastercard.
1 is just the credit card i had with my bank before i starting realising all cards are not the same - also visa.

One Play.com for Play points. 0% just ended.

    One with 0.05% cashback.

And one that fits in very nicely with my payday!
Definitely a good idea to shorten your spending months by having a card that runs from a different date to your main card.

    Amex Platinum for max cashback
Barclaycard as Amex back-up on less cashback
    Post Office for travelling

All paid off in full every month and raking in the cashback.
