Hi folks
Can i ask how many credit cards you have & how many could be too many?
I have 4 in total, 2 of them i use for day to day stuff as they have rewards & pay off in full every month. The other 2 are low rate, life of balance transfer rates which i don't touch for spending.

I have 5. My new years resolution was to achieve double figures so I'm aiming for 10.We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Is there any reason, if you don't mind me asking?
No reason at all. I just have some spare credit card compartments in my wallet to fill. :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
No problem
Was just wondering what the average was & if i was above the average
I intend to close one of my life of balance rates when i've paid it off, to lower my available credit to help with a possible mortage application later this year.0 -
I believe the national average is 5 cards.
Personally I have held between 9 and 15 at any one time over the past 8 years.0 -
4, 2 sub prime due to be closed down next week.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
