The plugins for me is what makes firefox. Its good browser cant say for sure its the best and it does have it problems like its bloated and takes a lot of ram mainly due to plugins. But I find some plugins like noscript very useful as a added security feature

Talking of bloatware, that was one of the reasons I came away from IE in the first place. That and the fact that it was then as leaky as a sieve and I was fed up with viruses and spyware (Also the principal reason why I shifted to Linux). Version 3 (FF) onwards is considerably less bloated than some of the later 2.x versions IMO.

@OP it really is a matter of personal choice. Give them all a try. I'm now pretty well wedded to FF but have dabbled with and rather like Opera.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

I think im the only one who likes IE, ive never had an issue so dont feel the need to move
  • Meh.... IE is fine for me. I Like Opera though (especially on WM! :D ), and Chrome is sitting on my desktop as well. Won't touch Safari (total carpware). Will use FF but not regularly.

Internet Explorer is the most flawed of all products microsoft ever made. Vunerability after vunerability. Poor code followed by flawed code. Firefox with 'noscript' installed does me just fine. I am no microsoft hater, as I dislike macs and find linux too nerdy. Windows 7 Ultimate is my prefered OS but never will I use IE

Opera for me. I had problems with it hanging/crashing, but stuck with it as I liked it. Found out the problem was a conflict between ZA and Vista. Uninstalled ZA, replaced it with Comodo and no crashes since.

I do use FF for the cashback sites as it's easy to delete all cookies.

Unfortunately some sites will only work on IE so I have that, but only use it when I have to.

I liked Firefox enough to borrow the name!! I delete cookies for cashback using CCleaner as it means my laptop get some regular 'housekeeping' at the same time.

i tried chrome but there is on 'favorite' option so you cant store your favorite websites like you can in IE or FF.
