Ooo I think I'll rejoin the weekly spend challenge, got quite good at it on the run up to my wedding last year. So I think aiming for two green weeks is a good idea Psycho, defo with you on that, and instead of going NO alcohol, I'm going to aim for say 15 alcohol free days and only then when its on offer :D knew I'd find a way around it :rotfl:

There is always a way to bend the rules :D:D I'm still 'wasting' far too much money on stuff, my weekly budget is usually around £20 but this doesn't include food so surely I should be having green weeks every week, yet I don't!!

I haven't set a new one up as hardly anyone apart from a few updated how they were doing.

What do you think, would you like a new one setting up?

  • Sounds good to me!

Ok, I just had a green week so I am on track for sticking to my pledges! Only eaten out once this week too.....

I'm beginning to think not seeing a certain friend of mine is brilliant for my bank balance!!

    Well done!

I'm doing a bit better too recently altho I did treat myself to some suntan lotion today ready for the summer and some L'Occitane body wash which is one of the few things I can use at present due to my eczema

April should be an even better month - the frugal living is starting to pay off at last!

  • I know what you mean...I seem to be far better off now I'm getting in to the swing of keeping track. This is the first month my 'leftovers' on the spreadsheet matched what was actually left over in my account.. I'm dead imprssed with myself!
