Come on shops OPEN please - I want to get my breadmaker. Fiancee says it will be a waste of money so i am determined to cook lots of bread and cakes to prove him wrong!

  • Good Morning everyone ,well what an awful wet and windy one it is today.Dd just rang to say the shop at the Dockside Centre in Chatham sale finishes today and it has half-price suitcases.I wanted to buy one for DGDs birthday in a fortnight so I will have to get my skates on and see if I can get down there today. Feeling a bit chilly as its so wet and damp and my joints aren't co-operating as well as they might so I am just going to have a really hot shower in a minute to get warmed up.Roll on tomorrow whan the plumber comes and hopefully I get my heating sorted out.I have two halogen heaters but they aren't the same, and its when I go from one room to another I get chilled ,more jumpers and extra clothes I think.well I hope everyone has a good day what ever they do Take care and keep warm

Just got in from shopping. Who knew the whole world would pick Sunday to go shopping :( The fastrack isn't working so had to queue for ages to put shopping through grrrrrrrr.
Kids are now having lunch so need to put the rest of the shopping away and quickly put the vac round before a million and one toys get pulled out :rotfl:
Nice and mild here with no wind - I am hoping the worst of the weather passes us by.
Will have to squeeze in a visit to my parents with the kids this afternoon - they flatline if they don't see enough of them. Sod me it's all about the grandkids these days :rotfl:

  • Haribo - I know what you mean, if a big bookshop with a coffee shop inside opened up nearby I would apply for a job like a shot. Coffee & books - perfection.

  • Afternoon all

Had a nice lie in this morning first one in ages and feel a lot better for it.
DH made a coffee and DS was having a bit of a breakdown cos he had lost his usb stick and needs it for tomorrow - so we had to quickly go to staples to get him a new one - won't be pleased if he loses this one.
Horrible cold, grey and wet here - it really hammered down last night.

Got back and DH made a lovely brunch of eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes lovely.

Off to have a nice shower while he washes up - he is a good un but sometimes like yesterday in the garden I could happily throttle him:rotfl:
Somehow we always end up laughing after a bit of a bust up which is a good thing.

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Csarina :happylovehope you have a lovely day x

    afternoon all!

a late post for me as I've been a busy bee today so far. I decided to clean the cooker:eek: badly needed doing especially around the knobs, just got the oven to do later but thats not too bad, am waiting till after tea to do it when the oven is still warm. Then I moved all the appliances and had a good clean behind them. 3 loads of washing done and house cleaned top to bottom. Just got the ironing to do now.

Diva - sorry to hear Tris is still so poorly x

    welcome to schumie!
