  • OK I've written my LBA but I haven't got a chance to post it today. Hopefully it will go on Monday, as I've left it with a friend who is willing to take it to the Post Office.

I'd stick it in the post tray but I need to send it recorded!

  • Just got 12p in interest and £13.27 from Quidco!

    Groovy!

Now, where's that bleeding cheque from Capital One - I got a letter through from them saying that it will be here in 14 days, as if that is doing me a favour!!!

I'm going to write them a letter of complaint and ask for some interest or a goodwill payment from them to compensate me for the massive delay!!!

    Grrr

I'll post it here or on the main board shortly so people can give me some tips!

  • I'm having a bad month for spending, or so it feels!

Anyway, I've decided that I will try a new year's resolution that perhaps I should have tried long ago...

I currently have a Morgan Stanley card that pays me cashback for purchases but I always hate the day on which I have to pay the bill! It always seems to mount up and I am eternally playing catch up, or so it seems.

Now the cashback is really great but actually I think I might stop using the card as my new year's resolution and just pay in cash for everything. Then I'll be able to keep a much closer eye on how much I am spending...

What do people think? Keep using the card for cashback or just move to cash and kick the credit card habit?
