  • Evening 'DontDoDebtKids',

Reading your diary has inspired me to 'look' at my overall debts and do something about them.

So far i have swapped a few of my credit cards to 0% ones and ditched the ones that refused me 0%. Consolidated my existing debt to these 2 cards and now pay no interest. Made me feel REALLY good when i chopped those cards up to tiny pieces!

Thanks for the inspiration ( and laughs ) and continue with the debt reducing stuff.

  • Hi guys,

Guess what? Yup, that's right, I got 11p interest :j from my current account today!

What should I spend it on? Should I push the boat out and spend it all at once? :rotfl:

PS I do love cutting up cards - the PIN is the best noise ever! :A

  • I couldn't resist!

Normally, with junk mail that has a pre-paid return envelope, I shred the junk mail and post it back to them. Fun and costs them money, so hopefully they will stop. :D

This time, however, I didn't put anything in the envelope and stuck a envelope sticker over the address and addressed it to myself. It got to me fine!

    Cooooooooool

  • Nearly there - cheque should arrive on 16th November - so will be waiting by the post box (like a labrador waiting for the morning paper) on Thursday!!!

It had better get here this week or I'll be cross. Problem is, I know that it won't and that phoning them will just result in them saying "the cheque's in the post", a statement which is always a lie...

I'll give them until next week then might summon up the anger/courage to phone them and tell them they are rubbish.

They won't care, will they? I've waltzed off to another credit card company so I'm no longer their customer.

    Grrrr

  • Cool!

I accidentally clicked on my Rpoints shortcut in IE and found that I had 2500 points in my account (Cahoot savings account application and Rpoints welcome bonus) so have transferred it to my current account.

    Woohoo :j
