Have Halliard Gomes set the dogs on MSE

It appears that all threads on a London based investment property builder have disappeared. It's all a bit "big brother".

I guess that Mr Lewis might put his fortune on the line to protect his own freedom of speech, but you can hardly blame him for not wanting to do so to protect yours (and mine).
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Probably so. Shame. What'll happen if the banks take the same line?
  • Just tells you that what some people (not me) think of as a service is actually a business.
  • the one in the debate section is still there, unless there was a different one from the massive original thread that was in here.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Well, the various posts having been pulled might make some people think that

Halliard Homes have something to hide

    and that

    where
Halliard Homes are concerned, no smoke without fire...

but I'm sure that's not the case and they are certainly an upright, honest & decent company: Aye, right!

This is known as the ??? effect after some dumb Merkin celeb objected to stuff being published about herself and the subsequent discussion thereof did way-way more damage than the first minor comment...

Clearly not the case with such an honourable bunch as Halliard Homes

    Cheers!

More likely the amount of spamming of "GH" led to the threads being pulled.

Hang on, is it Galliard Homes ....?

It might be - that produces some googles, one of which is a link to an invalid thread here.

    Darn, that was so obvious.

Publication of material which is sub judice comprises contempt of court, a crime which is punishable by a fine of unlimited amount and/or imprisonment for up to two years. Third party costs orders may also be awarded against the media organisation, enabling the courts to recover the costs of any trial aborted as a result of the prejudicial reporting.
