Well after getting the Final letter from Lloyds yesterday, got another one this morning, with a readable copy of my application form and T&C
It looks pretty enforceable to me, don't know if you want to see it Niddy, I did email it to you before and the copy they sent was very fuzzy. Not too sure what to do now :undecided
Is it a manufactured copy or the original? Only you know the answer to that? If it is the original then you'd obviously have to blag it or accept it and make prepayments. If however its an application form or whatever then it may not be enforceable - of course I need to see things or I cannot confirm!2010 - year of the troll

Hi everyone
Can you all please remember NOT to start worrying about who gets what and what yours says compared to what his says - if you want to do that then please use PM's and not confuse the thread!
I'm tired of explaining this but i'll do it one last time, so we're all clear!
Right, lets take Lloyds for example. The ONLY way that you'd get two exact scenarios is if two people applied for a card the same day, the same branch and was underwritten and accepted by the same clerk/underwriter. The odds of this happening are like what? You have to forget what other people have been sent, you cannot compare - it does not work like that!
You have to keep focussed on your own case, forget other people's as it will worry you unnecessarily.
Lloyds seem to be sending generic letters to people then a few days later a new form of some sort is arriving, great - let them send it - all you have to do is think back and check the form, did you complete that particular form? is it your handwriting? Does it look like a recon or original? Is it your signature? Is it a cut/paste job?
Basically only you know the answers - if you're certain it is an original and it is signed then send it to me to re-check with the other one (if applicable) that they sent so I can compare the two for similarities etc.
But enough of this confusion already, it is not the way to do things - you'll end up stressing newbies and other Lloyds customers by starting with the paranoia...... already since jen posted 4 people have jumped in panicking about what they will be sent - stop worrying!!
End of rant - hope this sinks in2010 - year of the troll

What should I do? (No letter from Mercers yet)
Thanks

Good morning Niddy, and everyone else.
Well Lloyds must have certainly been busy over the last couple of days. I have received a letter from them today re CCA request, sent 19/4/10 and CCA Reminder sent 15/5/10. This is basically what it says
Do we now send them Template 3.2. CCA Dispute - Terms and Conditions. or 3.3 Copy Document.?
Thanks for taking the time to read Niddy, much appreciated.

Probably me i'd say! The OP won't be cos you should really let them enter default so do nothing for around 21-28 days anyways.....2010 - year of the troll

Hi Elsie, the letter you have received is basically saying they don't have/can't find the CCA. I had the exact same letter. Niddy said to send the final response letter to them.
Hi matey
This is what I mean, we cannot compare agreements - arghhhhhhh
It's not as clear cut as that! Yours was totally different in what had happened to date, as apposed to this. You have to treat your own as specific and not compare as no two are ever the same - never ever ever
However, I also do like to split things up, so say i've got 10 people on here asking what to send, its pointless asking all 10 to send the same letter to the same lender cos the lender will KNOW they are using the same person for advice - ergo I deliberately ask some people to send different letters....
Like I was asked the other day why the templates aren't on post 1, like they used to be.... simple answer, when they were people never read anything they just came here nicked a template and went again! With them being half way down page one people have to start to read which means they should see the checkers and then start to do things themselves.... there is always methods in niddys madness.
Hope that helps explain and is a good example of why we NEVER compare agreements!
p.s. Swansea are still shoite :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
