LOL, what is this in relation to exactly? i.e. the lender/the dca/the balance etc etc?

I can't offer any advice as I am totally in the dark here :o

But yea, you should wait for their reply regardless.....

Haha yes sorry, from a credit card company in response to the first letter asking for the cca :-)

    Hi Mate

Yes I know the letter seems sarcastic but the formal legal approach does not work, therefore the sarcastic approach is necessary! Don't worry, it actually shows them that you're very clued up, confident and knowledgeable and not bothered and will fight them - i.e. less chance they will try and take action and if they do, great! Lets have em mate! I'll go to court with you, don't worry (but that will never happen)....

You and me both - it was worse than that at first but I calmed it down cos I wasn't sure if it was a 'he' or a 'she' - lol..... but put it this way, I did ask at one point for her to seek approval of letters by a male colleague prior to acting blonde again..... then thought nah - that's getting personal which doesn't help us in the long run, although tempting its not really wise to be rude - but you can be factual and impose ridicule if necessary - which I done in abundance  :rotfl: :rotfl:
