Hi
i'm becoming a compulsive lurker here, trying to absorb as much as i can but can't join in because i haven't taken the first steps yet! The only thing that's stopping me is printer troubles, and i'm far too lazy to go to a library to print
Best not have a drink, you'd be tripping over me on the floor, not had anything since before i got pregnant and baby is 10 weeks now :rotfl:
Hiya
You'll have to get to the shop and get some ink! Supermarkets sell it now you know? :rotfl:
Ahh, congrats on the forthcoming addition.... what do you want, a daughter to watch over your sonOr not bothered?

I bought some compatibles on ebay but they were rejected and i will cry if i have to pay out for genuine epsons! Just waiting on a reply from the seller, am trying my luck for a refund
Thanks! Baby is already here, 10 weeks post-birth! It's a little girl to go with my not so little boy who's almost 7
My ex is in loads of debt so i thought about directing him here but none of that credit went towards the baby so i won'tI'd like to be back in business credit-wise while the kids are still young because i want to own a house! My debt is small but so is my income :rotfl:
So would you really go to court with one of us if it came to that?I saw your earlier post and thought it'd be funny if they did.

Good Morning Nid
yes thank you i totally hear you, get my family problems sorted first then i can help others, its just that i felt really good about dealing with our debts which has been a long time coming
but on reflection i understand that i need to take care of my business first and be firm (part of the problems im facing is because i helped a trusted friend with her mortgage arrears and now im facing the problems as until she remortgages she cannot pay my money back - and how it would be lovely to have hindsight at the time, so yes fingers toes all burnt and you have totally made me realise i need to sort myself out first
so thank you sometimes its good to be told the harsh facts
have a good morning and weekend
and i can understand when you have loads of us asking you stuff must be hell of a rollercoaster but i for one do really appreciate your time
take care and nite to allmaz

Did you pay using PayPal and did the eBay advert state they would work? If so, start a resolution as you don't have long to do it.....Thanks! Baby is already here, 10 weeks post-birth! It's a little girl to go with my not so little boy who's almost 7
Sorry - thought you meant baby was 10 weeks old, like 10 weeks pregnant lol.... sorry mis understood.....
Congrats though..... you'll see what I mean about the little sis looking out for big-bro! Boys are reckless and sisters come in handy to calm us down lolMy ex is in loads of debt so i thought about directing him here but none of that credit went towards the baby so i won'tI'd like to be back in business credit-wise while the kids are still young because i want to own a house! You're on the right road then, just get the letters sorted quick-smart then! You're wasting valuable time - lol.So would you really go to court with one of us if it came to that?I saw your earlier post and thought it'd be funny if they did.
Lots of people ask this, honest answer? I don't know - i'd like to think I am capable of stopping court action due to breaches of process, court is and should always be used as a very last resort to defend - not to pursue.
So yea, maybe I would, but for the same respect the way the world is right now i'd be more concerned that if things went the wrong way, the person i'd tried to help could then attempt to sue me. Its just the way the world is right now and so it leaves a moral dilemma to answer before doing anything!
Good example, a man was choking and a passer-by saved his life by thumping his ribs (obviously not recommended) - however as one rib got broken, the individual was sued for over £15k damages due to aggrevated assualt (!!!!!!!)
Its a joke - as you can see! Thus my dilemma would probably stop me from going, in all honesty.2010 - year of the troll

Hiya - how are you? Ok I hope
I wasn't meaning to sound harsh but you'll get bogged down and confused if you take on too much, at least do your own first - learn the processes then move on to helping friends, or get them to post here and we'll do it for you
But seriously, it can be a ball-ache. I still get 50+ PM's a day and I thought with the new thread there'd be no need to PM me like that, however of the 72 received today over 60 had never posted before so jumped in and PM'd before reading this thread!
The new layout means you only have to read pages 1 & 2 to learn everything.... it is still being updated, some new letters were added today! The best and funniest letter i've done to date must be this one earlier tonight - #295 :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyway, have a good night and speak soon....2010 - year of the troll

As I have said before...I just love reading this thread. And THAT letter is just perfect, brilliant, superb, awesome, amazing.....words are now failing me:T:T:T:T:T
I would so love to be a fly on the wall when they receive and read that one:D I can't wait for the response to be posted up:rotfl:
Seriously NID, I will never understand how you manage to juggle employment and your full time adviser career on DFW. I can't imagine when you ever find the time to live a normal life (whatever is deemed normal in DFW world anyway;))

I know - every time I read it, I start to laugh and think - wonder what the silly sods will think when they open it! I'd love to be a fly on the wall, bet whoever gets it will run to their manager and panic!
It will be checked before they send another letter, that I can assure you :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
It's their own fault, send an amateur to deal with a specialised subject - in court, they'd be eaten up and spat put like the dirt they are! Silly threats that mean nothing, my letter was mild considering it could have been 10 times worse!
Did you see the reply to your last post = unenforceable? :T :T2010 - year of the troll

Hiya
I'm at work now - all night til at least 7am!
As above, I too like that letter - it was me ranting on behalf of the OP due to their thickness and cheek that they think they know more than us - grrrr
We can all use a few big words and quote case law to act tough, but in court that would fall apart - something those muppets fail to grasp!
I am at work now, hahah - I spend 50% of my time at work and the rest on here! Poor wife, I must remember to take her out next week for a meal
I do sometimes think, oopps - maybe bitten off more than I can chew but i'll draw the line when all my mates/regulars from here have been sorted. Then I may only get involved with unique cases that bear no resemblance to the templates shown. Ultimately, my aim is to have a thread that is easy for people to follow and do it alone.... I do spend too long here (15,000 posts in a year)! :rotfl:

Two lovely big words you may want to put away and use sometime are
evasive and obfuscatory
These were used by the Information Commissioner's Office
last week to describe Lord Ashcroft's tax affairs:rotfl: but could well be used to describe many off the responses your 'clients' get from their credit card/loan providers. If they're good enough for the ICO they definitely good enough for NID;)
Definitions
evasive: Tending to avoid speaking openly or making revelations about oneself
obfuscatory: intended to conceal the truth by confusion (edit...this is now my favourite word!)NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000
