Proof that NID rocks....
Letter received today from Advantis Credit on behalf of Littlewoods/Shop Direct-
"Thank you for your recent letter. We write to inform you that we are no longer dealing with your account. We can confirm that our client has notified us to cease collection on your account. Your account has now been closed and there will be no further action taken by ourselves."
This does leave them open to sell it on I guess, but since it's clearly unenforcable I'll just fight it with any DCA that they try to sell it to. Two 1st class stamps saved me £377.500 -

Lol.... Indeed- I should maybe have just said "kudos for NID"Feels great getting rid of the drivel and focusing on the "real" stuff- I had been paying them £10 a month, which can now go to paying off my overdraft.

I've had another letter from Barclaycard delivered today that I've just found on the table.
A quick recap...
*CCA request sent by me.
*Barclaycard reply with the terms and conditions.
*I send template 3.2 back.
Which brings us back to their reply today, it's only a short letter so I'll type it out.
Reference: Section 78 of the credit consumer act 1974
I write further to your recent letter alleging that we have failed to comply with our obligations in relation to your request for documents pursuant to section 78 of the consumer credit act.
Please not that we have already set out, in detail, why we are satisfied that the documents already provided to you have discharged out obligations under the act. we are under no legal obligation to provide any further documentation to you in this regard.
That's it.:)
So what should I reply with now, NID?0 -
